What's new

1.0.0 — Initial Release (2026-08-11)

The first public release. A reactive Dragon Ball Z soundtrack for Dragon Mine Z: instead of one looping playlist, the music reads what's happening around you and plays to match it.

🎵 Reactive music by situation

  • Where you are — the Overworld, Namek, Otherworld, the Sacred Kai Planet, and the Hyperbolic Time Chamber each get their own area music, and coastal/island areas swap to a lighter theme.
  • Who's near you — standing beside a major saga character (Piccolo, Goku, King Kai, Trunks, Vegeta) plays music tied to them.
  • When you fight — a hostile mob targeting you kicks in battle music.
  • Summoning a dragon — Shenron or Porunga appearing takes over with the dragon theme.

Stronger moments win over quieter ones, and each mood lingers briefly after its trigger fades so the music doesn't flicker on and off as you move around.

👊 Dedicated saga boss battle music

Main saga and movie bosses — Raditz through Kid Buu, Broly, Cooler, the movie villains — get their own boss battle theme, separate from ordinary combat music, the moment one is nearby. Grunt-tier enemies (Saibamen, Frieza soldiers, and other trash mobs) deliberately don't trigger it, so the boss theme stays special. Server admins can adjust exactly which enemies count as a "boss."

⏳ Combat music that doesn't overstay its welcome

Once battle music ends, it won't retrigger for a few minutes even if another enemy wanders in — so a string of small fights doesn't feel like the music never lets up. Boss music is exempt and can always play when a real boss shows up.

🔀 Smart track order

Each situation shuffles through its own set of tracks so you hear variety, never the same song twice in a row. If battle music interrupts your exploring track, the exploring track picks back up from where it left off once the fight is over — not from the beginning.

🎚️ Fits into your world cleanly

  • Fades in and out smoothly between tracks.
  • Quiets Minecraft's own background music while it's playing, and hands control back at the main menu.
  • Fully configurable: every track list, volume, fade time, detection range, and cooldown can be tuned, and the whole addon can be turned off.
