What's new
Zero S Mod 2.1.3
Changes since 1.0.0
This release represents a major expansion of Zero S Mod, bringing several previously separate Zero S systems into one mod and adding new scripting, interface, configuration, and world-building features.
DBC Ki attacks and scripting
- Added configurable hardening for DBC Ki attacks to prevent invalid, orphaned, unloaded, or excessive attack entities from causing problems.
- Added configurable limits for Ki attacks and barrages by owner and chunk, along with lifetime, collision, explosion, motion, and size safeguards.
- Added safer Ki power calculations and synchronized custom attack state and colors between server and client.
- Added scripting methods for creating, inspecting, and controlling Ki attacks and living-entity Ki data.
- Added Instant Transmission script methods and an event hook for intercepting or customizing Instant Transmission behavior.
- Added ZeroS API documentation and in-game autocomplete definitions for the new scripting features.
Custom Zero S player tab
- Added a custom tab overlay showing player name, race, class, current form, level, TP, core DBC stats, and form multipliers.
- Added Spirit Control integration showing equipped abilities, unlock/armed state, and a spirit gauge.
- Added configurable player form path display based on unlocked forms, including custom names, colors, and formatting.
- Corrected custom race names in places where the original CustomNPC interface displayed the underlying DBC race.
Administration and editor interfaces
- Added
/zsmod racestats, an operator GUI for editing saved DBC race and class stat multipliers safely in game rather than editing the configs in the server files. A server restart is still required before those edits affect live stats. - Moved the Rebirth and DBC Armor editor GUIs into ZeroSMod with synchronized client/server data handling.
- Added automated Saiyan mastery merging and
/zsmod saiyanmerge [player]as a manual fallback. - Added
/zsmod helpwith permissions-aware command listings and tab completion. - Expanded
/zsmod reloadto reload and synchronize biome visuals, dimensions, Ki safeguards, paths, and weapon settings.
Biomes, dimensions, blocks, and liquids
- Reworked biome handling into a configurable visual-biome system for WorldEdit and server builds; these biomes do not generate naturally.
- Added server-to-client synchronization for biome colors, fog colors, fog strength, and related visual settings.
- Added configurable custom dimensions, including custom world providers, visibility handling, and sky rendering.
- Added custom blocks and textures
- Added and reorganized animated liquid blocks.
- Refactored block, liquid, biome, and dimension registration for more reliable startup and configuration loading.
GUI, keybind, and configuration improvements
- Merged the Zero S keybind functionality into ZeroSMod, including Spirit Control menu and ability keybinds.
- Added custom chest GUI textures and support for changing registered GUI textures.
- Improved custom chest and anvil handling, including real inventory display support and a Private Vault usability fix.
- Added the dedicated SPC GUI texture and supporting client/server packets.
- Consolidated configuration loading and added automatic configuration synchronization where needed.
- Added exact client/server version matching to prevent incompatible ZeroSMod builds from joining each other.
Weapon System (WIP)
- Lots back end work has been done to prepare for our custom weapon system handling. This feature is to remain disabled for now.
Fixes and polish
- Fixed unregistered fluid crashes, fluid animation metadata, biome configuration values, and fog-strength handling.
- Removed obsolete code and the old tournament keybind while reorganizing packets, GUI scheduling, biome handling, and configuration code.
