DigiWorld 🌐

The Digital World as a Minecraft dimension.

Open a Digital Gate from a Digi-PC using your Digivice, watch the Gate Sensor flip to OPEN, travel across an immersive data tunnel filled with binary streams and code, and arrive in a realm featuring fifteen biomes, Control Spires, Japanese convenience stores, and vending machines.

DigiWorld operates standalone or integrated with existing Digimon mods:

Note: Neither Digimon mod is mandatory, nor do they depend on each other.

The Digital World

• 15 Biomes: Binary Forest, Data Desert, Freeze Mountain, Data Lagoon, Sakura Forest, Luminous Marsh, Fractal Wastes, Crystal Highlands, Palm Shore, Valdivian Rainforest, Mixin Forest, Andes Peaks, Dark Sea, Bamboo Forest, and Digi Plains. Each features custom terrain blocks and vegetation.
• 24 Structures: Primary Village, Toy Town, Gekomon Castle, Piximon Temple, Andromon Factory, Illusion Mansion, the Digimon Cemetery, sunken servers, giant gears, power transmission towers, comm antennas, telephone booths, streetcars, Control Spires, and combini stores.
• Control Spires: Radiate an aura that renders nearby entities hostile. Dismantle the corrupted pillars to collapse the spire; defensive spawns may trigger (configurable).

Digital Gates ⚡

• Gate Activation: Place a Digi-PC and hold right-click with a Digivice for 3 seconds to trigger the classic Digimon Adventure 02 Gate Sensor animation.
• Transit Sequence: The transit functions through an animated data tunnel with dynamic binary code, rendering terminal HUDs, and safe chunk pre-generation before arrival.

DigiItems

• Digivice & Dark Digivice: Cleanse or corrupt your device (submerge a standard Digivice into the Dark Sea).
• 9 Crests & Tags: Combine a Crest with an empty Tag and equip it to your partner to reach Ultimate and Mega stages.
• 10 Digimentals (Armor Digi-Eggs): 3D placeable blocks. Courage and Friendship trigger Armor Digivolution for Veemon; each egg hatches the original partner associated with its Crest.
• Wild Digi-Eggs: Hatch baby Digimon determined by the local biome.
• De-digivolution Mechanics: Evolved forms revert to Rookie stage over time, upon fainting, via Digivice interaction, or when the Tag is unequipped.

Evolutions and egg hatching require Cobblemon + Digimod [Cobblemon]. Tooltips dynamically indicate missing dependencies.

Vending Machines & Combini 🏪

Functional Japanese vending machines available in red, blue, and white variants (dyeable):

• Currency: Operates using gold nuggets.
• Inventory Rotation: Four daily rotating items, including ramen, onigiri, nigiri, dango, taiyaki, green tea, sake, Choo Choo Jelly, Digi-Meat, Digi-Mushroom, Recovery/MP Floppies, card packs, and wagasa umbrellas.
• Roulette: Hitting the 7777 jackpot awards free items, with rare chances of dispensing Crests or spawning a wild Numemon.

Technical & Compatibility Specifications

• Platform: Minecraft 1.20.1 | Forge 47+ (Client & Server).
• Cobblemon 1.5.2 + Digimod [Cobblemon]: Integrated via data-driven spawn pools and species additions. Missing species entries fail silently without crashing.
• The Digimod (Tested on BETA 1.7.5): Spawns load dynamically through Forge biome modifiers.
• Fight or Flight: Integrates with Control Spires to inflict hostile states on Pokémon.
• Stability: Zero Mixins used. Integrations rely strictly on reflection, preventing crashes when optional mods are absent.
• Configuration: Managed via config/digital_world-common.toml (Spire radius, defenders, drop rates, and cross-mod compatibility).
• Supported Languages: English, Spanish, Japanese.

Upgrading from DigiItems

DigiItems (digimonitems) has been fully merged into DigiWorld. Remove any legacy DigiItems .jar files prior to launching. Existing worlds automatically migrate IDs for stored Digivices, Crests, Tags, and placed Digi-Eggs without data loss.
