Installation

Install your mod loader
Download DaySpot
Put the .jar in .minecraft/mods/
Launch and configure via Mods menu

Configuration

Open: Mods → DaySpot → Config

Display: Position, scale, alignment, colors
Danger Alerts: Toggle alerts, cooldown, style, per-mob range

All settings are client-side.
