Daybreak

Regional day and night: the time of day follows how far east or west you are, with the sky, monsters, sunlight and beds following the local time. Server-side only.

What's new

Daybreak 1.1.0

  • Now on Forge too, and on Minecraft 26.2, 1.21.1 and 1.20.1 for Fabric, NeoForge and Forge
  • Village sieges follow each player's own midnight: one roll per player and night, a roll during a running siege waits for it to end, and a siege ends when its own spot turns day
  • 1.21.1 and 1.20.1: light at a position follows that position's local time, also for spawn rules, daylight detectors and random block ticks (turtle eggs)
  • Forge and NeoForge 1.21.1: night skips go through the loader's sleep-finished event, so other mods still hear about them
  • Enhanced Celestials: EC2's set-tonight command respects Daybreak's settings, and places a whole lunar year ahead of the world get their own year's events
  • Settings: each option in daybreak.json is read on its own (one bad value no longer resets the rest), the file is saved safely, and /daybreak info shows the dimensions running now
  • "Can't skip the night" reminders are kept per dimension; the debug option logs why nights are or are not skipped
  • API: localSolarClock and localSolarTimeOfDay
  • Faster regional checks and exact light per position
