Data Center 1.10.25
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
[1.10.25] - 2026-10-11
Client and server both need 1.10.25. Worlds from 1.10.2 load unchanged; going back to 1.10.2 afterwards loses the new blocks, blueprints and the Preventive Maintenance course.
Fixed
- Jade settings: two entries had no name. The switches for the Assembly Line and the Spare Parts Depot showed their raw key in Jade's plugin settings. They are named now, in English and German.
[1.10.24] - 2026-10-11
Fixed
- Enchantment Downloader: a running download follows a price cut. A job started before an update kept the cost it was started with (Mending stayed at 25 GB after 1.10.21 halved it). A running job now drops to the current price; progress is kept, and a job that has already delivered enough finishes at once. A job never gets more expensive.
- Mining Rig: the dropdown shows the coin you picked. After choosing another coin the header kept the old one (e.g. BTC while the rig mined LTC) until the chunk was reloaded. The rig now tells the client at once.
[1.10.23] - 2026-10-11
Added
- Blueprint (
datacenter:blueprint). One item, stacks to 1, with the data componentdatacenter:product(the item id of a product). Name "Blueprint: <product>", tooltip "Manufacturer licence - stays in the workshop". Nothing in this mod consumes it; a pack's workshop can read it through an ordinary ingredient with a component check. - Shop licences in made categories. Only with
shop.craftedCategoriesset: those categories are listed again, but the Shop sells the blueprint of the part instead of the part, marked "License". Price = the part's current price x the newshop.blueprintPriceFactor(default 1.0). Same purchase ids, same list. Blueprints cannot be sold back; used twins and complete servers have none. Part sourcing, board swaps, service contracts, assembly line and depot still refuse made parts. With the default (empty list) nothing changes.
[1.10.22] - 2026-10-11
Changed
- YSTY cable and refrigerant pipe take a third ingredient. Two bare ingots collided with other recipes in modpacks (shears, pressure plates, iron rods, copper wire). YSTY cable is now 2 iron ingots + 1 redstone, the refrigerant pipe 2 copper ingots + 1 wool; both still give 4.
[1.10.21] - 2026-10-11
Changed
- Mending costs half as much in the Enchantment Downloader - 12.5 GB of Compute instead of 25 GB. Other treasure enchantments are unchanged.
[1.10.20] - 2026-10-11
Changed
- FPGA and ASIC miners can be found in JEI by their kind. Every miner's tooltip now starts with a line "FPGA miner"
or "ASIC miner", so searching JEI for "FPGA" or "ASIC" lists the whole family (the device names alone never said
it). New lang keys
tooltip.datacenter.kind_fpga,tooltip.datacenter.kind_asic(en_us, de_de). No game logic changed.
[1.10.19] - 2026-10-11
Changed
- An empty Shop category that a pack crafts now says so clearly. The hint for categories listed in
shop.craftedCategorieshas a highlighted heading ("Crafted in this pack - not sold here") and tells you to look the part up in JEI to find its recipe and machine, instead of a vague "see the handbook". Wording stays neutral (no mod named). New lang keyshop.empty.crafted.title(en_us, de_de). No game logic changed.
[1.10.18] - 2026-10-11
Fixed
- Holes and slits in block models closed. Minecraft does not hide faces between the parts of one model, so a
part without an underside or back showed as a hole wherever a slit, a fan grille or a low viewpoint let you see
it. Closed on all 65 ASIC miners and FPGA boards (fans, controllers, power supplies, LEDs - floor and shelf
variants), the Server Cabinet (UPS, shelf, servers, rails, upper gear) and the Server Shelf (towers, keyboard,
monitor, hub and the wire shelves seen through the grid), the drawer unit of Workbench and Salvage Bench, and
the half-pixel see-through slits between the two screens of the Trading Terminal and above the Bank Terminal's
keypad. Shapes, textures, hitboxes and names are unchanged; the asset library now has a model checker that
finds such openings (
tools/kit/modellpruefer.py). - The seven simulation machines, Shop, Log Buyer, Rack, Mining Rig and Hosting Rack are hand-made models and keep their few small openings (fan well edge, rail ends) for now.
[1.10.17] - 2026-10-11
Changed
- Looks of the Assembly Line and the Spare Parts Depot. All five blocks have new 32 px textures and models in the style of the Chip Foundry machines: brushed steel casing with rivets, warning stripes, status lamps with a socket, and small screens. The conveyor has side rails and rollers and its belt moves while the line works (animated texture, still when idle); the robot arm stands on a proper gantry across the belt with a lamp that comes on while it works; the controller and the output show a lit front once the line is formed. The depot is a drawer cabinet: stock screen and two lamps on top, ten labelled bins, a red flap with warning stripes for broken parts, grilles and a nameplate on the sides, the refill chute on top. Block ids, states and inventories are unchanged - built lines and depots keep working.
- Workstation screen. The swap order's status line wraps onto two lines instead of running out of the panel (longer texts show the whole in a tooltip), the Start/Stop button is a touch narrower, the German "don't fit" note is shorter and falls back to the count alone when it would not fit.
Fixed
- Picture check: the texts of the swap order and the intake label of the Spare Parts Depot were cut at the panel's edge in German. The gantry of the Robot Arm is 4 px deep instead of 6, so the arm shows from the front too.
Internal
- Headless picture run:
werk bilder DataCenterfrom the workspace builds the Assembly Line (1 and 8 belts), the depot, the Workstation and the three machine panels in a flat world and photographs them in English and German at GUI scale 2 and 3. The classclient/devshot/Shotsis excluded from the release jar.
[1.10.16] - 2026-10-11
Added
- Service contract. A Rack, Mining Rig or Hosting Rack can be put under a service contract: for a running fee
its dead parts are replaced for you - no technician, no Spare Parts Depot. Convenient, and dearer than looking
after your own hardware once you run more than a handful of servers.
- Sign and cancel with the small tab on top of the machine screen, right end (
Service: off / on / unpaid). Rest the mouse on it for the terms. Only the owner of the machine (or his team) can do either. - The fee is $0.50 per server in the machine and day of the in-game calendar, taken from the owner's wallet. Signing costs three days up front, which are not refunded.
- A dead part is replaced about 30 seconds after it failed, billed at 125% of the Shop price of the day. The dead part leaves with the service.
- If the fee or a part cannot be paid the contract pauses with a red message: no fee, no replacements. It resumes by itself as soon as the money is there.
- While a contract is running, the technicians of the room leave the dead and dying parts of that machine alone, so nothing is bought twice. While it is paused they take over again.
- Jade shows the contract in one line.
- Sign and cancel with the small tab on top of the machine screen, right end (
- Config
serviceContract.enabled,feePerServerCents,partPricePercent,signupDays,responseTicks.
Changed
- Client and server both need 1.10.16: the machine screens read two more synced values.
[1.10.15] - 2026-10-11
Added
- Upkeep: parts last longer in a well kept room. Three things now take a share off both the wear of a part and
its sudden failures. A machine that has none of them wears and fails exactly as before.
- Cooling - a machine below 65 °C earns 1% per degree, up to 20% at 45 °C and cooler. This comes on top of the old rule that every 10 °C halves or doubles a part's life.
- Care - 15% for every machine in the room of a paid technician, as long as a Spare Parts Depot in that room holds at least half of what its bins ask for.
- Preventive maintenance - a new course at the technician's terminal ($50, raises his wage like every course). Worth another 15% for the machines of his room, with or without a depot.
- Together never more than 40%.
- The discount shows in the Rack, Mining Rig and Hosting Rack screens at the right end of the temperature row
(
-23%); rest the mouse on the row for the account and for what is still missing. Jade shows the same in one line. - Config
reliability.coolingMaxPercent,coolingFullC,coolingStartC,carePercent,careMinStockPercent,skillPercent,maxTotalPercent. Setting the three percentages to 0 switches the feature off.
Fixed
- The course descriptions at the technician's terminal broke into lines in German only; in English they ran on in
one long line with a visible
\n.
Notes
- Client and server both need 1.10.15 (the machine screens carry one more value). Worlds load unchanged.
- A technician's care takes up to 30 seconds to show after he is hired or the world is loaded, and fades within about a minute after he leaves, goes unpaid or the depot runs low.
[1.10.14] - 2026-10-11
Added
- Swap order - tell a technician "swap every X for Y in this room". It lives in the Workstation screen, below
the shelf: click the left field with the part to take out, the right field with the part to fit (the part stays in
your hand; an empty cursor clears a field), then
Start.- He swaps only where the new part fits the Server. Servers it does not fit stay exactly as they are; the screen counts them, and the tooltip lists them by rack and bay. He never changes a Mainboard for it.
- He takes the new part from his shelf, his Parts Cabinets and the Spare Parts Depots of the room. While the order runs, a depot keeps a bin for the new part and accepts as many as are still needed.
- The parts he takes out are not scrapped. They go to the output slots of a depot (only while its "collect" switch is on - mind what your hopper there leads to), else to his shelf and Parts Cabinets. A technician who sells worn-out parts leaves them alone. If there is no room for them, he waits and the screen says so.
- An old part that dies while the order runs gets the new part right away, if he has one, instead of another old one.
- The screen shows how far he is, and "Waiting for N x part" when the new part has run out.
Stopends the order at any time; what is swapped stays swapped. The order is saved with the world. - Repairs and all his other work come first. One part per visit, as fast as any part he replaces.
- While an order runs, a technician who upgrades worn parts leaves that be - otherwise he would put the old parts straight back.
- Older worlds load as before; nothing saved was renamed. Server and clients both need 1.10.14 to see the order.
[1.10.13] - 2026-10-11
Added
- Spare Parts Depot - a new block in the Shop (Infrastructure, from the start of the world, $250). It looks at the
room it stands in, finds every kind of part fitted in your Servers there and keeps one bin for each.
- Every bin has a wanted stock. By default that is 10 % of the number fitted in the room, at least one
(
partsDepot.autoStockPercent); the-and+buttons set it by hand (Shift: eight),Autogives it back. The limit per part ispartsDepot.maxStockPerPart(64). - Filling it can be dumb: by hand (the slot in the screen, or shift-click), hopper, pipe or an ME Export Bus. The depot only takes parts that are fitted in the room, only up to the wanted stock, and no defective or nearly worn-out ones. Everything else is refused and stays where it came from.
- Technicians use every depot in their room as a source of spares - anywhere in the room, not just within eight blocks of the workstation. They still look at their own shelf and Parts Cabinets first. A depot serves parts that are dead or about to die; a technician who upgrades worn parts still does that from shelf and cabinets only.
- Defective parts a technician pulls go into the nine output slots of the depot, where a hopper or pipe can take them on to a Salvage Bench. The switch in the screen turns that off; then, and whenever the slots are full or no depot stands in the room, he does what he did before.
- What is missing shows in the screen (red), in Jade and at a comparator (0 = nothing missing, up to 15).
- A part that is no longer fitted in the room keeps its bin until the bin is empty. Mainboards and risers get no bin - a technician does not swap those from stock.
- Parts Cabinets are unchanged.
- Every bin has a wanted stock. By default that is 10 % of the number fitted in the room, at least one
(
- Fixed on the way: when a technician had taken a spare and the part to be replaced was gone in the meantime, a spare that did not fit back onto his shelf vanished. It is now dropped at the machine.
- New block only: older worlds load as before, no older purchase id moved (the new Shop entry is at the very end). Server and clients both need 1.10.13.
[1.10.12] - 2026-10-11
Added
- Assembly Line - a large machine that builds Servers from parts. Four new blocks in the Shop (Infrastructure,
from the start of the world): Assembly Line Controller ($600), Assembly Conveyor ($40), Assembly Robot Arm ($250),
Assembly Line Output ($100). The smallest line is $990, a full one with eight conveyors and eight arms $3,020.
- Build it: Controller, then 1 to 8 Conveyors in a straight row to its left, right or back, the Output at the end, and at least one Robot Arm on top of a Conveyor. The blocks join up on their own; the arms move while they work and the Server travels along the belt.
- Use it: put a fitted-out Server into the pattern slot. It stays there and is not used up. The line then fits every empty Server exactly like the pattern - same mainboard, same part in the same place.
- Empty Servers and parts go into the Controller by hand, hopper or pipe (AE2 works too). It takes only what the pattern needs, never more than one Server's worth, and no defective parts. Finished Servers come out at the Output block or at the Controller.
- Only fits the Workbench would allow can be a pattern. If a part is missing the line waits and names the part in its screen and in Jade.
- Power and speed: every part takes
assemblyLine.ticksPerPart(60) arm-ticks andassemblyLine.energyPerTick(40) FE per arm and tick, so 2,400 FE per part. More arms are faster, not cheaper. The Controller holds 100,000 FE. - A Ponder scene explains it; tooltips on all four blocks.
- New blocks only, nothing existing changed: the Server item and its saved format are the same, older worlds load as before, and no older purchase id moved (the four new Shop entries are at the very end of the catalog). Server and clients both need 1.10.12, as with every version that adds blocks.
[1.10.11] - 2026-10-11
Fixed
- Workbench and Salvage Bench model had a see-through slot: the four legs stopped one pixel row of the frame short of the bench top, so between leg tops and the top (y 9 to 11) the outer edge of the block was open and one could look through it. The legs now reach the bench top. Model only; registry names, block entity and saved data unchanged.
[1.10.10] - 2026-10-10
Fixed
- A technician with the Selling skill now always gets rid of dead parts. Before, a part the Shop does not buy back
(partner-mod and
shop.craftedCategoriesparts, anything outside the catalog) or would pay nothing for stayed on his shelf for good, and the shelf filled up. Those parts are now scrapped for $0 - no new income. Parts the Shop does buy back sell at the usual sell-back price; selling in the Shop yourself is unchanged.
[1.10.9] - 2026-10-10
Changed
- AE2 Power Interface: with enough compute the hint now says that supply is steady and that AE2 refills its storage in steps - the storage bar dipping and refilling is normal and no longer reads as "charging".
[1.10.8] - 2026-10-10
Changed
- The milestone news and the Simulation Node guide no longer speak of a sky island: the mod runs in ordinary worlds too (en_us, de_de).
- AE2 Power Interface: new screen. A coloured verdict says whether the AE grid is fully powered, short of compute, down, or not connected; bars show supply against the grid's draw and the grid's energy storage; a hint names how much compute is missing. Worlds and the block are unchanged.
[1.10.7] - 2026-10-10
Fixed
- Ponder guides showed the text but no machines: the stage structures (
pad_5|7|9) held only the floor, and Ponder takes the stage limits from the blocks actually placed and silently ignores every block a scene sets outside them. The stages now carry air above the floor, so the machines appear.
[1.10.6] - 2026-10-09
Fixed
- Shop in German: the Sell button now grows with its label instead of letting "Verkaufen" hang over its edges (Sell tab and Wallet), the sort row stays inside the panel, and the sell hint and the "reorder" entry of the side bar are no longer cut off.
[1.10.5] - 2026-10-09
Fixed
- Impulse MI300X: the catalog carried its FP64 figure as FP32. The card now computes and mines twice as fast (163.4 instead of 81.7 TFLOPS), in line with the other accelerators. Price and power draw are unchanged.
[1.10.4] - 2026-10-08
Fixed
- Hard-coded texts (screens, commands, leaderboard displays) now follow the game language.
- No more recipe error in the log when Patchouli is not installed (the handbook recipe now only loads with it).
[1.10.3] - 2026-10-07
For packs that build their hardware instead of buying it.
- German translation completed.
- New setting
shop.craftedCategories(empty by default - nothing changes unless a pack fills it in): Shop categories listed there are made, not bought. The Shop neither shows nor sells them, staff cannot order them, and they cannot be sold back. Meant for packs in which another mod makes the hardware - Chip Foundry builds processors, graphics cards, memory, drives and mainboards from chips. Client and server need the same list. - A Shop category that has nothing to show says why on wrapped lines instead of a cut-off one, and a category
from
shop.craftedCategoriessays that its hardware is built rather than bought. - Jade's settings name Data Center's line ("Power demand") instead of showing a raw key.
- Startup log: with Tycoon Calendar installed it says the calendar pace comes from there instead of quoting this
mod's own (then unused)
calendar.fictionalDaysPerMcDay. Log text only.
