This is a remake of the mod: Cataclysms [By TheOman]
The mod adds a variety of dark creatures to the game. Some are aggressive hunters, some are reasonable, kind creatures, and others are animals.
The mod also includes lore and a storyline that can be explored directly in the game!
The mod is currently in development and is NOT available for download yet! However, it's halfway through, and will be completed in the future.
How do I complete the mod?
COMPLETE MOD:
..First, wait for Cataclysm to appear—this will be accompanied by a static sound, or summon it with the /chase command. Then, if you wait for it to appear, prepare yourself and then approach it. It will notice you and the chase will begin. You absolutely must survive. Run from it, don't try to kill it, and wait for it to drop four light shards and one dark shard; they will glow. Then, pick them up and, when Cataclysm leaves, craft a Holy Cross from them (use the recipe through JEI if necessary). Then, prepare well for the upcoming boss. Wait for Cataclysm to appear again and let it attack you four or five times (you can use a shield), then it will grab you and take you to the new boss—Silhouette. When he brings you to him, he'll grab you, and if you don't hit him with the cross in time, he'll kill you and infect you. But if you do, a very difficult boss fight will begin. Defeat him, and he'll drop the Heart of Darkness. Pick it up and right-click with it, and a piece of darkness will fall. Then wait for the upset Cataclysm to appear in the world, approach him, and interact with him. He'll rise and become a new, extremely difficult boss – The Real Cataclysm. Kill him, and then the angel who used to be in heaven will thank you, giving you a lot of experience and a Holy Sword that kills ALMOST all creatures of darkness with one hit. After a while, an altar will appear, and a voice will tell you to activate it. If you do, a new boss will appear – C.R.O.W. – be careful, as he's one of the strongest bosses, but defeating him is essential. After his death, he'll drop a Beak of Darkness, which you can use to craft a new sword for future battles. After a while, Notch himself will give you a sub-sword, craft it into a Creator's Orb. Then a creature no one has ever seen will appear. It's evil because you killed its creatures. When it appears, right-click with the Orb in hand to crush it, but its deputy will appear! Defeat him, and the darkness from this world will disappear forever...

LORE:
One day, a creature appeared that no one had ever seen. It created four creatures: Cataclysm, Silhouette, Angel, and C.R.O.W. Silhouette declared himself king, and Cataclysm began to obey him, but Angel refused and went to heaven, and C.R.O.W. disappeared into the shadows. Cataclysm searched and hunted players, but he could not catch two agile and strong players who survived together - David and Bill. So Silhouette himself decided to catch them. He hid behind a tree and was able to catch David. He infected him, and he turned completely black, he developed three white round eyes, a cross (x) appeared on his chest, and his name changed to "?!?" Then the former David ran to Bill, grabbed him, and took him to Silhouette, who infected him too, turning him into a similar creature but with the name ??? and two eyes. They also worshiped the silhouette, though they secretly disliked it, as they barely remembered their past lives and joked about the cataclysm, but it couldn't do anything to them, only threatened them. Some time later, the Cataclysm caught a player named Greg mining diamonds. He also brought it to the silhouette, who decided not only to infect him but also to mutate it into a larger creature named Crush. The silhouette asked Cataclysm to catch an animal. He was searching, but suddenly he heard a crackling sound—a Sniffer had hatched from an egg on the beach. He caught it and brought it to the silhouette, who infected it and mutated it slightly, turning it into an Observer, used for transporting creatures to the sidue and for defense. But then you came along—a player who wants to stop this...
Were you able to defeat the silhouette and free ???, ?!?, and Crush, returning them to their original forms. There was only one Cataclysm left. He went mad, and when you disturbed him, he rose and became the new king, continuing the work of the silhouette—The Real Cataclysm. But you were able to kill The Real Cataclysm, thus almost ending the darkness... An angel who had been in heaven for many years came, thanked you, and left... But C.R.O.W., angry at Cataclysm's death, urged you to activate the altar, promising diamonds, but he appeared and wanted to kill you. You ate as best you could to defeat him, and after a while, NOTCH himself gave you a gift, saying it would help us. You made a creator's orb from it, and after a while, the very same creature no one had ever seen appeared, evil because you killed his creations. But the orb managed to kill him, but his deputy came to kill you...
Facts:
The official name of the Creature no one has ever seen is Dauvolaivola.
C.R.O.W. is not a crow, but a raven.
The one to blame for all this madness (darkness) is not the cataclysm or even the silhouette, but Dauvolaivola and his deputy.
