darkmoonlib-1.20.1.1.0.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
DarkmoonLibrary 1.0.0 (Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4+)
The first release: the shared library that every Darkmoon Hollow mod now needs, starting with Eclipse Gate 1.4.3.
Added
- One usage-stats choice for every Darkmoon mod. The first time the game reaches the main menu, one screen lists the Darkmoon mods you have installed and asks whether they may send anonymous stats and crash reports. One answer covers all of them.
- Anonymous check-ins (only with your permission): once per game start, for each Darkmoon mod, a random install ID, the mod, Minecraft, Forge and Java versions, client or server, and your OS family.
- Crash reports (only with your permission): only for crashes caused by a Darkmoon mod's own code, with your user name and folder paths removed before anything is sent. A report that can't be sent is kept and sent next time.
- Change your choice any time from the Usage Stats button in a Darkmoon mod's menu (such as Eclipse Gate's), or in
config/darkmoon-stats.properties(metricsanderrors). - Dedicated servers start with stats on and say so once in the log; turn them off in the same file.
- For mod developers: a Darkmoon mod joins with one line,
DarkmoonStats.register(...), and can open the choice screen from its own menu withStatsConsentScreen.open(parent). Nothing is sent from a development run unless it is started with-Ddarkmoon.stats.dev=true.
Changed (for Eclipse Gate players)
- Eclipse Gate's own stats code has moved into this library. Your earlier choice in
config/eclipsegate-stats.propertiesis carried over toconfig/darkmoon-stats.properties, so you aren't asked again.
