Danganronpa Mod for Killing Games

Danganronpa mod with Blocks to help build, new weapons to kill and Music to set the mood.

This is mostly a mod i made for fun in MCreator and decided to share. Please leave any recommendations and bug reports in the comments. Though I'm not online in curseforge too often, ill try to at least read the comments.

 

This mod is intended to be used by administrators or hosts of a killing game in minecraft. The available items are those that you put in the map, you are not forced to use all of them, but if you're going to use this mod then I recommend you check out what it adds.

 

Not going to work on this mod anymore as I dont have the files for it and im moving over to actual java coding. Im sorry if you are disilusioned with the current state of the mod, but as I said I made this for fun a long while ago.

I hereby grant permission to anyone to copy this mod, even if the source code is not readily available.

 

 

 

TL;DR: adds a lot of features so that a murder always leaves behind some sort of evidence, among other items to help in hosting these games. Recommend using with the corpse mod (Duh)

 

1.12.2 version:

i will not update this version, as MCreator lacks features for that, and i have done a lot of stuff in 1.16.5 already, so i will be focusing on this until a new mod-popular version shows up. id recommend using the latter version.

 

1.16.5 version:

Added feature: Blood:

 -When someone kills something else, they get the Bloody status effect. It is merely a visual effect.

 -To clear it, one needs to use a napkin or jump into water. The napkin will turn into a dirty napkin and the water will turn into bloody water (looks weird with optifine)

 -When someone gets to low HP, they will get the Bleeding effect. It emits the same particles as the bloody effect, and can only be cleared by healing to full HP.

Note to admins hosting a game like this: Milk will get rid of these effects, so I suggest you to not include cows or milk in your maps.

 -When something or someone is bleeding and they take damage, a blood block is placed on the ground. It can only be broken with a mop or by a creative player.

 -Most weapons have a bloody version, that will be applied once someone kills something, except for some. Said exceptions are detailed in the weapons section, otherwise it can get bloody.

 -Vanilla Armor sets also have a bloody version. Can be cleaned by going into the water, but will create bloody water in the process. 

Added Weapons:

 -Replica Sword: Like in DR1, anyone who touches it gets a glittery visual effect. To clear it you use a napkin. It is slightly better than a netherite sword. It will not get bloody.

 -Dumbell - Takes a while to get a grip, but does insta-kill damage.

 -Shotput Ball - Can be used in melee and at range, insta-kill in both scenarios.

 -Iron Skewer - Deals low damage per hit but attacks fast.

 -Icicle - Will not get bloody and will disappear if inside any player's inventory. Is an insta-kill weapon.

 -Baseball Bat - Deals near insta-kill damage and can throw baseballs. The baseballs can also get bloody.

 -Old Wither bottle - Has 3 durability stages: 1 is unbroken and deals some damage. 2 deals more damage. 3 deals low damage but also applies wither effect. Does not get bloody as it simply falls to pieces.

 -Ancient Weapon - Comparable damage to the replica sword, but also applies fire. Does not get bloody.

 -Electric Shiv - Will short-circuit when the player that has it comes into contact with water or blood. Slows down players it hits. Once broken can be recharged with a battery in a crafting table.

 

Added effects:

 -Bloody and Bleeding as previously described

 -True blindness - Useful for situations where the lights go out and you dont want anyone to see anything

 -Forestry - Random effect, will replace the world around the person with vegetation until ultimately killing them. Used for a creative execution

 -Cancer - Gotten from eating a battery. Will kill the person within the next 10-60 minutes, though they won't know the exact time.

 -Glittery - Merely a visual effect. Can be cleared with a napkin.

Note that all of these can be cleared with milk (not guaranteeing that their effect will stop), so if you're designing a map I suggest not including milk or cows and buckets) 

 

 Added useful items:

 Napkin - Will clear Bloody and Glittery status effects, giving a dirty napkin in return. Can also clean bloody weapons and dirty dishes when used with bleach in a crafting table. (more on recipes in another box)

 Bleach - Used to clean bloody weapons and dirty dishes with a napkin in the crafting table. Will lose durability when used.

 Dishes and dirty dishes - Items used for tasks. They can be placed down.

 Washing machine - Can also clean the dirty dishes

 Mop - Can be used to clean blood. They can be used as a weapon (not recommended) and will not get bloody.

 Card Reader - Will read an E-Handbook and check for gender or name. Can be configured with a setup E-Handbook (to set the name and gender) and a monopad (to switch between checking for name or gender)

 Bola - Can be thrown at someone to slow them down.

 Tomato - You can throw it. Mainly used for executions.

 Rope - Can be used as a climbing rope. When placed on the bottom of a block it will go all the way down until it meets another block.

 Firebomb - Throwable explosive. Will not break blocks

 Laser gun - Loud ranged alien weapon. Does not have a bloody version.

 Invisibility Cloak - Turns the wearer invisible at the cost of the cloaks durability. Will not get bloody (not like you would see it anyway)

 Pickpocket item - Crafted with 4 trash items. When right clicked with on an entity it will reveal its first 6 items, allowing you to steal 1

 Trash - Trash. Can be used to make a pickpocket item.

 Jack-in-the-box - When placed down, it will do nothing. When a crank is placed beside it and it is right clicked, the Jack will wind up and apply slowness and blindness for 1 minute to everyone in range if they don't have a clown mask on.

 Clown Mask - Will make you immune to the effects of the Jack-in-the-box.

 Crank - Used to wind up the Jack-in-the-box. Crafted with a stick and a lever. (more on recipes in another box)

 Scanner - Will copy the item in the main hand of the target and give it to you with half of the durability.

 Monocoins - No use, it's up to the admins of the game to give it one. Can be deposited and withdrawn from the E-Handbook.

 Night vision goggles - Will give you night vision and make you unaffected by true blindness.

 Broken night vision goggles - Don't do anything, but can be "fixed" with duct tape or Hyper Realistic Duct Tape in a crafting table. (more on recipes in another box)

 "Fixed" night vision goggles - If you're afflicted with true blindness, will give you normal blindness instead.

 Duct Tape - Random item for fixing and crafting stuff.

 Hyper Realistic Duct Tape - Random joke item that functions the same as duct tape.

 Copper Wire - Random item for fixing and crafting stuff.

 Battery - Random item for fixing and crafting stuff. Can be eaten. Will give cancer if eaten. Check effects box for more.

 Electric Shiv - As described in the weapons box, will apply slowness to the target and will short circuit when in contact with water or blood. Can be crafter with a battery, copper wire, iron ingot and duct tape (more on recipes in another box). When it reaches 0 durability, will give a Deactivated shiv.

 Deactivated Shiv .- Ran out of energy, can be recharged with a battery in the crafting table.

 Short Circuited Shiv - Will not work again. Will still deal the same damage, but no slowing down. Cleaning a bloody shiv will give you this too.

 

E-Handbook and Monopad:

 The E-Handbook can have a set gender (Male or Female for gameplay reasons) and will automatically have the name of the person who set it up

 Initially will only have the rules, deposit monocoins and withdraw monocoins buttons available.

 Rules are hard set in the mod. If you want changes to them HMU and i'll make a special version for you.

 You can use your E-Handbook to open readers that are set to your gender or name.

 A Monopad is an admin item that allows to open and close a case. (more functionalities to be added, give suggestions.)

 When a case is open, everyone will be able to access the Currect Case and Notes buttons.

 Current case will give you the information given by the admin team.

 Notes will allow you to take notes as if they were truth bullets. You can have a maximum of 12 notes. Write what you want to write down and press "Take Notes" to write them down. (mod version 4.4.0 and above)

 To set up a reader as an admin, you need an E-Handbook with the gender or name you want and right click the reader to set it up. To change what the reader reads, right click it with a Monopad. You'll get a notification telling you what it is checking for.

 Having a Monopad in your inventory will also allow you to get notifications in chat of when someone kills someone else and with what weapon (may not work, not properly tested)

 

Added commands:

/setcase <name of the victim> <gender of the victim> <ultimate title of the victim> <time of death> <place of murder> <extra information> <more information>

     this will set the specifics of a murder case. Note that the name, gender and time of death should automatically be set (time in-game) when a murder happens.

/setevidence <name of the evidence> <description of the evidence> (mod version 4.4.0 and above)

     this will create an evidence entity with a name. when someone right clicks on it they get a description of the evidence.

/clearevidence <name of the evidence> (optional) (mod version 4.4.0 and above)

     this will clear all evidence, or all evidence with the given name if it's provided.

 Added blocks:

 -Vent block

 -Ceiling, and floor blocks

 -Volcanic rock

 -Fake blocks. These blocks are pass through (includes fake vent) except for Fake TNT. It simply doesnt explode.

 -Starry sky, sun and moon blocks for an astronaut themed room.

 -Mondo butter. When right clicked will give butter with no limit.

 

Also added danganronpa music discs which are, to my understanding, copyright-free. If there are any issues with the music discs and their copyright I'll remove them.
