CursorFX 0.1.3
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
CursorFX 0.1.3
The cursor is now the real system cursor. Your chosen style - built-in, colour-tuned or an imported image - is turned into an actual operating-system cursor instead of a picture drawn over a hidden one. It sits exactly where your mouse is, every frame, with no lag behind the pointer, and it can no longer drift away from where you are actually clicking. Trails, ripples and click effects are still drawn by the game as before.
- New option Show style as the system cursor (on by default). Turn it off to get the old drawn cursor back.
- The cursor is rebuilt only when its look changes - style, colours, size, opacity, image or GUI scale - so it costs nothing while you play.
- Other mods that briefly set their own cursor (text beams, link hands, menu mods that reset to an arrow) are respected: their cursor shows while they need it, and the styled one comes back as soon as they hand back a plain arrow.
Spatial GUI support.
- Screen effects are now drawn as part of the screen itself, so on Spatial GUI's floating inventory they appear on the floating panel instead of being painted flat across the window.
- Fixed the pointer not lining up with Spatial GUI's floating screen when the camera is not a normal perspective camera - most visibly with isometric camera mods such as Dungeons Iso, where hovering, picking up and dragging items landed on the wrong slot. The pointer is now traced through the exact camera the screen is drawn with, so it lines up in isometric, third-person and first-person views alike. This only takes effect when Spatial GUI is installed.
The Hide native cursor options are renamed Replace system cursor, since the cursor is no longer hidden.
