Cubeville Companion

An unofficial client-side utility mod for the Cubeville SMP Minecraft server.

What It Does

Cubeville Companion adds quality-of-life tools designed specifically for the Cubeville server. Everything runs client-side only — no server-side installation required.

Features

🗺️ Region Visualization

See WorldGuard region boundaries rendered as 3D wireframe boxes in the world. Regions are color-coded by your relationship to them:

🟢 Green — You own it
🔵 Blue — You're a member
🔴 Red — Someone else's

Floating labels display the region name and owner. Optionally fill faces with a semi-transparent overlay, or enable Block Highlight Mode to color individual blocks inside small regions.

📐 WorldEdit Selection Visualizer

Your WorldEdit wand selections (wooden hoe left/right click) are rendered in real-time as 3D wireframes with:

Dimensions display (W × H × D)
Warning colors when selections exceed a configurable size limit
Block highlight mode for small selections

⚡ Quick Action Menu

Press Left Alt to open a tabbed reference and shortcut menu with 8 tabs:

Quick — One-click buttons for /hub, /spawn, /home, //wand, /money, /journal, and more. Includes a live Mob Cap widget.
Region — WorldGuard commands (/rg i, /rg list, claim, subzone, flags, members)
ChestShop — Step-by-step Shopkeeper chest shop creation guide
LWC — All lock/protection commands with descriptions
Ranks — Every rank command (Doctor, Repairman, Death Hound, etc.)
Channels — Chat channel commands (local, shout, group, PMs)
Lifts — CraftBook elevator sign instructions
Help — Expandable reference for teleportation, info, utility, and staff commands

💬 Chat Filtering

Optionally suppress:

[Cubeville] server broadcast messages
Seasonal holiday event announcements

🔄 Auto-Poll Regions

Automatically fetches region info as you walk, keeping your region overlay up to date without manual commands.

🏪 Shop Sign Generator

Visual tool for creating ChestShop signs with a live preview and copy-to-clipboard support.

🧠 Command Auto-Completion

Learns server commands from chat and provides tab-completion suggestions.

Additional keybinds for /hub, /spawn, /home, and the Shop Generator are available but unbound by default. All keybinds are fully re-bindable in Controls.

Configuration

Press F8 to open the full settings GUI with 5 tabs:

General — Notifications, debug mode, quick menu options
Regions — Visibility, labels, fill, highlight, auto-poll settings
Selection — WorldEdit visualization, dimensions, size warnings
Chat — Message filtering toggles
Colors — Full color picker for region and selection colors

Config is saved to .minecraft/config/cubeville-companion.json.
