cubbits-0.1.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Cubbits 0.1.0 (Alpha 1)
First public alpha for Minecraft 26.3 (Forge 66). Expect bugs and balance changes, and worlds may not carry over to later versions.
Blocks and tiers
- 13 tiers of Cubbit blocks (Null, Unit, Bigg … Biggoddamned) in 12 sizes, from Bit up to Hubbyte. Each has its own colour gradient, and the blocks face the way you place them.
- Two of a size craft into the next size up.
- Hex Bit and Hex Byte: decorative dodecahedron blocks.
Mining
- Cubbit Ore: a glowing ore that forms in obsidian crusts next to lava deep underground. You need a diamond pickaxe, and it also works as a Nether portal frame.
- Every nugget mined gets its own unique hash (proof of mining). Smelt nuggets into Cubbit Ingots, then craft an ingot with obsidian into a Null Bit.
Proof of work
- Cubbit Rig: a fuel-powered machine that hashes a Cubbit block up to the next tier. Higher tiers are harder to hash. You can name each rig.
- Compute Cores speed up a rig, up to about 12.6×.
- Rig Wrench: an isometric view of your rig network where you claim or drop cores. Each rig has its own set of three coloured symbols that shows which cores and Monuments belong to it.
The Cubbitchain
- A server-wide ledger that records every hashed item: who mined, smelted, crafted or hashed it up, every trade, and every item burned.
- Cubbitchain Ledger: browse an item’s full history as a tree, with an Explorer tab and a Stats tab. You can also use it to transfer an item to another player.
Cubbit Monument
- Sacrifice hashed items to earn points, then spend them in the Monument’s skill tree to give players nearby buffs.
Config
- Rig difficulty, hash speed, supply cap/halving and Monument radius can all be changed in the config.
Known issues
- Hex Bits can’t be crafted yet, and hex blocks drop nothing when broken.
- Nuggets and ingots don’t stack, because each one has its own hash.
