Description

CROSSARMOR

A high-speed mech combat mod featuring pilotable Armors, boosting, FCS targeting, customizable parts, and a variety of weapons.

Minecraft 1.20.1 | Forge 47.x | Java 17

CrossArmor is a high-speed mech combat mod that adds pilotable combat machines called Armors to Minecraft.

Take control of an Armor and fight using Boost, Quick Boost, aerial movement, FCS targeting, rifles, missiles, melee weapons, shields, and other equipment.

Each Armor has different mobility, armor, energy performance, FCS characteristics, and handling. Machines are designed around different combat roles rather than simply making every new Armor stronger than the previous one.

⚠ CROSSARMOR IS CURRENTLY IN BETA

CrossArmor is still under active development.

Features, controls, balance, Armor specifications, weapons, animations, HUD elements, customization systems, and other mechanics may change during development.

FEATURES

Pilotable Armors

Enter an Armor and control it directly.

Different machines have different characteristics, including:

  • Mobility

  • Armor

  • Energy performance

  • Boost performance

  • Ground mobility

  • Aerial mobility

  • Weapon characteristics

  • FCS performance

Lightweight machines may specialize in mobility and aerial combat, while heavier machines may trade speed for increased armor, stability, or firepower.

High-Speed 3D Combat

CrossArmor focuses on fast, three-dimensional combat.

Armors can use systems such as:

  • Boost

  • Quick Boost

  • Aerial movement

  • Vertical movement

  • Ground hovering

Use your machine's mobility to evade attacks, rapidly change position, close the distance, or engage enemies from the air.

FCS / Targeting System

CrossArmor uses an FCS-based targeting system designed for Armor combat.

FCS characteristics can include:

  • Lock Distance

  • Lock Speed

  • Lock Area

  • Tracking Performance

  • Multi-Target Capability

Combat HUD systems provide additional targeting and machine information during battle.

Weapons

CrossArmor includes multiple types of weapons designed for Armor combat.

Examples include:

  • Rifles

  • Beam Rifles

  • Machine Guns

  • Precision Weapons

  • Bazookas

  • Railguns

  • Missiles

  • Missile Pods

  • Sabers

  • Shoulder Weapons

  • Shields

Different weapons are intended for different ranges and combat situations.

More weapons are planned for future updates.

ARMOR ASSEMBLY

CrossArmor includes an Armor assembly system.

Current major component categories include:

  • HEAD

  • CORE

  • ARMS

  • WAIST

Parts from different machines can be combined to create different Armor configurations.

The Assembly system is still under development.

Part Alignment

Some combinations of Armor parts may currently have positioning or alignment issues.

If a part is misaligned, its position can be manually corrected using the F8 adjustment function.

Part positioning, compatibility, statistics, animations, and other Assembly behavior may continue to change during development.

ARMOR PAINT

Armors can be visually customized using the paint system.

Paint and other customization functionality are also still being improved.

ARMOR LIST

CrossArmor currently contains multiple Armors developed by different manufacturers and organizations within its original setting.

Each machine has its own design philosophy, mobility, armor, handling, FCS characteristics, and intended combat role.

More Armors will be added as development continues.

Note: The technical sheets shown below are currently available in Japanese only. English versions are planned for the future.

CROSS ARMOR — XA-1T

Developer: World Allied Forces
Designer: Kamui

The original Cross Armor and the foundation of the series.

Designed around the idea of protecting its pilot and increasing their chances of returning alive from the battlefield.

CROSS ARMOR KAI — XA-1-1GT

Owner: GOD HOUSE
Pilot: Kamui

A personally modified version of the original Cross Armor.

Several systems were redesigned or removed to reduce weight and adapt the machine to Kamui's preferred combat style.

WING RIDER — MR-WG-1

Developer: Mizusawa Industries × Rondenion Aegis

A lightweight Armor specializing in ground hovering and forward mobility.

Its exposed frame and minimal armor reduce weight, while specialized components provide stable high-speed movement.

BEGINNING VECTOR — XA-2-V1

Developer: Vector Aerospace Corporation

A machine developed from the abandoned Cross Armor No.2 project.

Most transformation equipment was removed, resulting in a lighter frame with improved mobility and energy performance.

FIRST WRITER

Developer: Silva Engineering

A secret one-off Armor developed using information from the Wing Rider.

Its extremely high responsiveness and mobility make it difficult for an ordinary pilot to control.

GRANDE — MA-2

Developer: MARK. / Bastion Dynamics

A mass-production medium-weight Armor.

Grande emphasizes stability, protection, ease of operation, and reliable ground performance.

SAGITTARIUS — WF-001

Affiliation: W・FOX / World Fox

A heavy ground-focused Armor.

Its aerial mobility is limited, but additional boosters allow the massive machine to maintain surprisingly strong mobility while fighting on the ground.

GREASE CHANDOR — ML-1-3

Developer: Moonlight Corporation

A high-performance heavyweight general-purpose Armor.

Although heavier and slower than Sagittarius in some areas, it provides strong aerial mobility for its weight class, thick armor, and excellent overall combat performance.
