Modern Industrialization is known for its complex mechanics and steep learning curve, often leaving players confused. Many consider its entry barrier too high, even calling it “the biggest and most troublesome tech mod I’ve ever played, bar none.”

This addon for Croparium brings farming support to Modern Industrialization, allowing some of its mineral resources to be grown as crops. It eases material pressure from the source and reduces reliance on complex ore processing chains.

Farming Mechanics

Croparium crops require the matching farmland block type to grow and survive. The farmland type, crop type, embryo shard type required for seed crafting, and the shard type consumed during growth acceleration are all consistent.

All crops added by this addon are Overworld ore crops, so they must be planted on Overworld farmland. Their seeds are crafted using Overworld Embryo Shards, and growth acceleration consumes the same type of shards.

How to abtain overwold ore farms:

• Right-click common Overworld stones (such as cobblestone, granite, or tuff) with any pickaxe to till them into Overworld farmland.

• Blocks tagged with #cp_lib:farmland_dimension_overworld are considered Overworld farmland.

• Farmland must have water within a horizontal radius of 4 blocks to remain hydrated.

Harvesting

• Breaking a mature crop: yields seeds and the corresponding resource.

• Right-clicking a mature crop: directly grants the corresponding resource and resets the plant to growth stage 2.

• If the tool in the main hand or offhand has Looting or Fortune, the expected yield is increased.

• If the tool has Fire Aspect, smelted versions of the resources are dropped instead.
