Critter Colonies

Critter Colonies enhances MineColonies by replacing its humanoid NPC and raider models with fully animated GeckoLib-powered creatures, giving colonies a more immersive, stylized, and cohesive visual identity.

Instead of vanilla-style biped models, MineColonies entities are visually reimagined as unique “critters” while keeping all gameplay, AI, and mechanics completely unchanged.

⚠️ Work in Progress:
This mod is actively being developed, about 1/3 of the way complete. Not all professions or raider types have been replaced yet.
However, everything currently implemented is complete, stable, and fully polished — no placeholder models, broken textures, or unfinished animations.

This mod is purely visual — it does not alter balance, behavior, or progression.

MineColonies pirate raiders now use custom GeckoLib creature models and animations.

All standard MineColonies citizens are rendered with new custom models instead of vanilla humanoids.
