Description
Critfall: Checks
Ability scores, skills and saves for Minecraft. Checks adds a character sheet: your scores comes from Critfall's d20 rolls, and your skills come into play everywhere, from haggling with villagers to leaping across ravines.
Make a character
- Pick a species, background and class preset, each with its own traits, skills and starting kit.
- Set your scores with the standard array, point buy, 4d6 drop lowest, or hardcore 3d6 in order.
- Your size, health and Armor Class follow your character: Constitution adds health, Dexterity and armor set your AC, and a halfling is as small as you would think and so is a goliath as big as you would think!
Grow
- Levels 1–20. Earn character XP from advancements, raise your proficiency bonus, and pick ability score improvements.
- Character sheet (K): abilities, saves, passive scores and every skill at a glance.
Talk (G)
- Persuade or Deceive villagers and traders for better prices.
- Intimidate them into handing something over, or pickpocket them.
- Calm animals, scare off hostile mobs, read people with Insight, or play for a crowd.
- Villagers remember. Get caught and the village talks, witnesses run, and the iron golems come looking.
Explore
- Athletics: leap gaps, climb faster, tear through cobwebs.
- Acrobatics: soften hard landings.
- Stealth and Perception: sneak up on mobs, spot tripwires before you trip them.
- Sleight of Hand: disarm traps.
- Investigation: search looted chests for anything missed.
- Nature, Arcana, Religion and History: learn about mobs and structures the first time you meet them.
- Animal Handling, Survival and Medicine: tame faster, get hungry slower, and shake off poison sooner.
Every feature can be turned off in the config.
