Got the Void Seed research complete, yet I cannot actually put the seed on the altar. When I click, nothing seems to happen. Am I doing something wrong?
First of all - great mod! But there's one improvement I would like to see in the future. It's ability to config Primordial Pearl drop rate at various levels of durability, because 100% chance for full pearl is tad OP.
How am I supposed to unlock the research? I have collapsed rifts and all sorts of stuff. I have even made void ingots and the like... I don't have the research unlocked. What do I have to do to get it to unlock exactly that I haven't already done?
I managed to get the research to unlock. I obviously just don't scan enough things. Eventually unlocked the last of it when I went to the altar. However after putting my void seed on the altar, nothing has happened. I get some effects, a little bit of purple lightning and smoke, but no boss.
I could never reproduce it. When I finally got my computer running again it was built with the latest forge. And I had no issues during testing or launching a custom pack. But potentially it will throw out something more useful if there's issues as I added dependencies internally which I had forgotten
Fair enough. I saw those comments and held off adding it to a modpack I'm working on. But I'll throw it in and see if anything happens. Thanks for the reply and hope the move is going smooth for you.
i got a couple questions. ive read some of the comments and am aware this isnt currently compatible with latest forge (which is currently a dependency for other mods i have), ergo the simple things i am unable to test however i have some more detailed questions/feature requests to pair with my enquiries as well.
1) do the bosses drop the primordial pearl item. if so, charged or depleted? 2) what is the average spawn rate of the structures 3) how hard are the fights. i.e are they simple cut/paste of the unused content or are they altered in any way? 3)im assuming they generate as structures. might i suggest something more involved. having a "summoning" item and requiring the respective structure be built then using the item (which would be gated just before late game TC) to start the fight, not unlike botania's gaia fight. this would avoid being ambushed too early by the bosses AND prevent early access to late game TC resources (the pearl). i know this one is a fair bit more work but it seems like a favorable alternative to recreating the whole dimension (short of directly porting the whole system over to 1.12 which i doubt is permitted)

hey, all good on the moving thing. you arent OBLIGATED to make this, its entirely done at your own convenience. so many people forget that and are so entitled. i have mad respect for modders who can write code. it might be easy for you but to me its like asking an english only speaker to learn a character language. im a 3D artist so i often get the same reactions from the other side of the fence (programming oriented people with little to no artistic knowhow).
do you plan on making them a bit more involved in future via spawning "rituals" or something?

Unlock the research, and then place the void seed on the altar locating in the center of the structure.

2. 1/1000 ish spawn chance
3. Standard fight from the base game
