Create: Speed Signals is a Create addon that adds one block, the Speed Limit Signal. It builds on Create's existing train signal system and lets a track section carry a speed cap. Trains that cross the signal are clamped to that speed while they run through the zone and return to normal speed past the next boundary.
Features
- Adds a single block, the Speed Limit Signal, extended from Create's train signal.
- A wrench cycles the block through six presets: unlimited, and caps of 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 blocks per second. The default is 5 blocks per second.
- Wrenching reports the current cap as an on-screen status message.
- A train that crosses the signal is clamped to the cap while it occupies the signal-edge group it entered through, and is released at the next boundary. A later signal set to a higher cap (or unlimited) lifts the limit.
- The clamp reduces speed at the train's natural braking rate, so entering a zone at speed does not produce a sudden jolt.
- The block's appearance reflects its current preset.
- Crafted from an iron sheet, an electron tube, and a train casing, yielding four.
Requirements
- Minecraft on NeoForge. Supported game versions are tagged on each file.
- Create.
Create: Speed Signals ships as part of the ColonyWorks: Empires modpack and also works standalone with Create installed.
