Create Aeronautics: Throwable Rope Connector

Create Aeronautics: Throwable Rope Connector is a small quality-of-life addon for Create Aeronautics / Create Simulated that makes rope docking possible.

Instead of manually placing a Rope Connector, this mod adds a throwable connector item. Throw it like a snowball, and if it hits a valid block face, it places a normal Create Simulated Rope Connector there.

The item then turns into a normal Rope Coupling that is already linked to that connector, ready to attach to a Rope Winch.

Features

• Adds a Throwable Rope Connector item
• Thrown like a snowball or fire from the Rope Launcher
• Added item Rope Connector Launcher for longer-range connector placement.
• Places a normal Create Simulated Rope Connector
• Converts into a normal Create Simulated Rope Coupling
• Returned rope is already linked to the placed connector
• Appears in the same slot after use
• Failed throws do not consume the item (by default)
• Configurable throw/launcher distance and velocity

How To Use

1. Craft a Throwable Rope Connector
2. Craft a Rope Connector Launcher (Optional)
3. Aim at a valid block face
4. Right-click to throw the connector or if using the launcher, fire at your target surface with the connector in your other hand.
5. On success: A Rope Connector is placed and the item becomes a linked Rope Coupling
6. Right-click a Rope Winch with the Rope Coupling to complete the connection
