Pictures come out of the printer as real pictures, printed text keeps its colours, your own operating systems can protect their lock screen, the WiFi router is back – plus a crash fix for the radio addon.

📶 WiFi Router

• The WiFi router is back in Advanced Electricity (it was in Advanced Computer Technic) – it does not need a radio.
• Local network without the addon: computers, laptops and server racks in the same WiFi reach each other like over data cables – chat, messages, e-mail, server programs and rack connect work over it. A router wired with data cables also links the cabled devices with its WiFi (like a network switch). Printers join the WiFi as before.
• With Advanced Computer Technic the router works exactly as before: a radio wired to it or standing next to it (or a radio tower's WiFi) brings the internet.
• Name it with a name tag, set the password at a computer (router name …, router passwort …). Range and power use: routerRange and routerConsumption in the config (moved from the addon's config).
• Existing worlds: routers placed with Advanced Computer Technic have a new ID and are not carried over – place them again.

🖨️ Printing

• Pictures print as pictures: picture files – .bild from paint programs and .img from the CogOS desktop – now come out of the printer as a picture sheet (like a map you can hold or put in an item frame) instead of a book full of codes. This works with print <file>, the "Print" button of the desktop file manager and in programs.
• Coloured books: colour codes in printed text (&c, &a … &r, as in the terminal) become real colours in the book. White turns black and very light colours are darkened so they stay readable on paper. Long lines are wrapped without counting the codes.
• New for programs:
  • printer.image(title, picture) prints a picture {w, h, pixels} – e.g. from gfx.capture or a paint program.
  • printer.file(name) prints a file: pictures as a picture, everything else as a book.

💻 Computers

• Lock Ctrl+T: os.blockTerminate(true) makes the computer ignore Ctrl+T – for example on the lock screen of your own operating system – until the program allows it again with os.blockTerminate(false) or ends.
• Protected start program: if the file .bootlock exists, Ctrl+T while booting no longer skips the start program (setboot), and it starts with Ctrl+T locked. Without the file everything stays as before.

🔧 Fixes

• Crash with Advanced Computer Technic fixed: placing or loading a radio, TV, big TV or parcel station crashed the game (only in the finished mod, not in the development environment).
• Keyboard and mouse on the PC monitor were the wrong way round: the space bar now faces you and the mouse lies on the right with its wheel towards the screen.

ℹ️ Updating: replace the old jar – never keep two versions of Advanced Electricity in the mods folder. Update Advanced Computer Technic as well – the new version needs Advanced Electricity 1.0.6 or newer (the WiFi router now comes from here).
