What's new

  • An Assembling recipe's results replaces result, which no longer reads, so this breaks a pack's own recipes: it is a list of item stacks, and "result": {"id": "minecraft:stick"} becomes "results": [{"id": "minecraft:stick"}]. It is required, and written [] for a recipe that makes only fluids; an empty results with no fluid_results fails to load. In KubeJS assembling(result, ingredients) takes one stack or a list, so scripts read as before. EMI and JEI show every item and fluid result. (#24)
  • An Assembling recipe has a category, one of crafting (the default), advanced-crafting, crafting-with-fluid, chemistry and oil-processing; any other name fails to load, naming it. KubeJS sets it with .category('chemistry'), and EMI and JEI show it. Each Assembler tier holds the categories in its categories in craftworks-server.toml, which take only those five names: tier 1 holds crafting and advanced-crafting, and tiers 2 and 3 add crafting-with-fluid. Fill Recipe on a recipe outside them is refused with a message, and an Assembler Fast Replaced to a tier that doesn't hold its Held recipe's category keeps the recipe and idles as Can't run. (#24)
  • An Assembler makes a recipe's first result in the product slot and puts every other result in the remainder slot with the ingredients' remainders, as cake's buckets do. Fill Recipe is refused with the remainder message when those are two different items or more than a stack, and a craft waits in Output full while the remainder slot can't take them. Only a recipe with exactly one item result is Hand-craftable, so the Personal Assembler never plans a recipe with none or several. (#24)
  • The Assembler's ghost ingredients, and the Held recipe's product at the head of its screen, answer EMI's and JEI's shortcuts as a real stack does: hover one and press R (or left-click in JEI) for the recipe that makes it, or U (or right-click in JEI) for what it is used in. A tag ingredient answers with the member it shows at that moment. Clicking a ghost still does what clicking the empty slot does. (#30)
  • Jade, if installed, shows an Assembler's tooltip from any block of its footprint: the Held recipe's product, or "No Held recipe"; its state, one of Crafting (with a progress bar, the screen's), Needs power, Missing ingredients, Output full or Can't run; and its energy. The Creative Energy Source shows Infinite FE. Jade is optional, and without it nothing changes. (#28)
  • Craftworks has a creative tab of its own, Craftworks (craftworks:craftworks), with the Assembler 1 as its icon, holding the Assembler in tiers 1 to 3 and the Creative Energy Source in that order. They no longer sit in the Functional Blocks tab, and creative search still finds them. (#29)
  • The Creative Energy Source (craftworks:creative_energy_source), a creative-only block for powering an Assembler where no energy mod is installed, such as the dev client: every tick it offers unlimited FE to the energy capability of each block touching it, on all six faces, and its own capability gives FE without limit and accepts none. It has no recipe, so EMI and JEI show none, and it drops itself when broken. Find it in the Craftworks creative tab, with stand-in art for now. (#23)
  • The log no longer warns "can't be placed due to empty ingredients" for every Assembling recipe at each load, about a thousand lines in a vanilla world. A recipe with no item ingredient still draws it.
  • The Assembler's screen draws the slots of your inventory and hotbar, which were missing, so only their items showed.
  • Accepts Groundworks from 0.5.4 up to, but not including, 0.6, since a new minor may break Craftworks.
