Heavily inspired by Loot Roulette, this mod adds a common, uncommon, rare and legendary rune that can be used in recipes.
It also contains an Unwritten Rune, which on use will turn into the other 4.
The amount and chance of getting each rune can be changed in the config file.
It's only useful in combinations with Minetweaker or other mods that let you add custom recipes.

Woops, forgot a "not" in that sentence. Yeah you can use any mod on curse in a modpack if the pack is hosted on curse

1 more question:
Would it be possible to add 2 more runes?
my pack could use some fairly specific ones.
a) a rune that emits electricity, like charged certus quartz from AE2.
b) a rune with the enchantment shimmer
I understand if this isn't possible.
For some reason, if you edit the Lang files, it defaults the common rune to item.common_mat.name. Everything else works fine though, this sort of mod really lets people get creative x

It seems like when i change the name of the item.mat_bag.name, that renames the common rune to item.common_mat.name. Let me know if you want me to double check.

Do these drop randomly from all mobs? Or chests? Or what? Is there a place in the config where we can turn off all of the drops except for a whitelist?
Basically I want certain runes to only drop from the bosses in my mod. Is there a whitelist or something?
