CraftCobweb

A minimal, no-fluff Fabric mod that makes cobwebs craftable.

Overview

Cobwebs are usually a pain to obtain — you have to find them in abandoned mineshafts, strongholds, or woodland mansions, and even then you need a Silk Touch shears (or sword in some versions) to actually harvest them. With this mod, you can just craft a cobweb from 5 strings in an X pattern.

Crafting Recipe

- **Ingredients:** 5 × String
- **Result:** 1 × Cobweb
- **Pattern:** X-shaped (corners + center)
- **Crafting table required**

The recipe is unlocked in the recipe book as soon as you pick up a string, so you don't need to memorize the pattern.

## Installation

1. Install [Fabric Loader](https://fabricmc.net/) for Minecraft 1.21.11
2. Install [Fabric API](https://modrinth.com/mod/fabric-api)
3. Drop `craftcobweb-1.0.0.jar` into your `.minecraft/mods/` folder
4. Launch the game — the recipe is now available in any crafting table

## Compatibility

- **Minecraft:** 1.21.11
- **Fabric Loader:** 0.19.5 or later
- **Fabric API:** required
- **Java:** 21+
- **Clientside only?** No — works on dedicated servers too. Only the server needs the mod.
