First public release of CraftBrowser: a full Chromium web browser inside Minecraft, plus shared web screens you can build in the world. Powered by MCEF.

✨ Browser

  • Multi-tab browser with session persistence and a smart URL bar (type to search Google).
  • Incognito tabs (Ctrl+Shift+N), never saved to the session.
  • Picture-in-Picture: floating, draggable and resizable window with click-to-interact.
  • Browser fullscreen (F12) with real in-page video fullscreen (YouTube & co.).
  • Chat link interceptor, "open in system browser", and a "Web" button in the title/pause menus.
  • Translated welcome page and full UI localization in 10 languages.

📺 Web Screens (world multiblock)

  • Craftable Web Screen panels that snap into a rectangle to form one shared screen everyone sees.
  • Right-click to set a URL; left-click/scroll to interact; audio fades with distance.
  • Press H to lock screen interaction (view-only).
  • Admin Screens button in the pause menu to change the max screen size live (OP only), plus a craftbrowser.panel.place permission node.

📦 Compatibility

  • Minecraft 1.20.1 — Forge 47.x
  • Requires MCEF 2.1.6-1.20.1 on the client (downloads Chromium on first launch, x64 only).
  • Install on the server too for the shared Web Screens; players without the mod can still join.
