The GUI
You can open the voice chat GUI by pressing the V
key. This allows you to open the settings, group chats, mute yourself, disable the voice chat, start/stop a recording and hide all icons.
Group Chats
Group chats allow you to talk to players that are not in your vicinity. To open the group chat interface, either press the group button in the voice chat GUI or just press the G
key.
To create a new group, just type a name in the text field and press the button next to it.
Creating or joining a group will bring you into the group chat interface. You will also see the heads of the group members in the top left corner of your screen. Talking players will be outlined. You can disable these icons by pressing the third button from the left.
Players that are not in a group will see a group icon next to your head, indicating that they can't talk to you.
You can invite players to your group chat by entering the command /voicechat invite <playername>
.

Can you uptade the plugin for 1.8.9 version (pleeeeaaaaassssseeeeee)
Hello, I understand that for the simple voice chat mod to work I must install this plugin on my server, but is there some type of permission or something for it to work? is that only the operators can speak for the game.
Does 1.19.1 run on minecraft version 1.19.2?
how do i download the fabric or forge thing
this is an incredible plugin! my only question is could you release it on SpigotMC because PloudOS (my preferred free server hosting website) only take Spigot plugin links
So uh i am using Exaroton to host and i am using the paper plugin, it's failing to bind the address of the server not sure how i could fix it here
In reply to Nanichan20:
You need to install ProtocolLib plugin for it to work. Also add your ip address in the bind address.
I use SPIGOT but it doesn't even work for me and I already changed the port to that of the server and nothing.
Hey,
I am not able to use the plugin on 1.18.1 Paper server can you please help me out
In reply to hackeryat:
it is showing invalid syntax
the plugin works but my minecraft mod (btw i use mac) i cant use the voice chat and i can only hear! my mac does not allow the microphone permission!
This is a great one , I really want to post it to MCBBS to share your work.I respect you and I will not use any forms of unoffical download and I will leave the orignal download link in bukkit!
I have a bukkit server on 1.18.1 and this plugin doesn't seem to work any reason why?

Hey there, Mihec! I figured out how to solve this issue. In order to fix your issue, you must "open a new port". Utilize the following steps:
Go to the "Network Management/Settings" tab of your server console, or whatever the equivalent to that tab is for your server hosting area. Then, "Create Allocation/Add New Port". This allocation will have the same Ip address as your server, except it will have a different port. (Don't make this allocation your primary.)
Now, copy the new port (the five numbers) that your new allocation generated. Now go back to your file manager and open the "plugins" folder. Open the "voicechat" folder that should be inside your plugins folder. If the "voicechat" folder is not there, then reload your server with the voicechat plugin and the folder should then generate. Inside this folder, you should see the document "voicechat-server.properties" - open this document and change the number after "port=" from its current number to the number you copied.
E.g. port=24454 changed to port=25596
When on my server we get the icon that we don't have connection, My server is Paper 1.17.1, I've got this plugin installed and we have the voice chat downloaded on our clients
Any reasoning as to why it won't work?

Hello there, Kyle. I just figured out how to solve this issue if you already have the latest version of the mod downloaded to your client and your server and it's still not working. Use the following steps:
I've tried the plugin and I'm pretty impressed, but I wish it would work with Forge too. This project seems to be very young so I hope that you will stay motivated and keep developing the plugin.
nice bro
