Core Ecosystem (Infection Mod)

A meteor brings a living alien plant to your world. It roots, hatches its heart, grows its own creatures and trees of the dead, and spreads its miasma toward you. Cut it down before it grows too big to stop. [Medium AI assisted Development]

What's new

Added:
  - Guardians take a ledge or a drop of up to 4 blocks in one move; one dragging a body, digging its lair, leaping or carrying a meal walks round as before.
  - Guardians heal on Infested Ground once the colony has the healing mark; they never did before.
  - A Wrapping Vine's whip killshot, and a mob or player turned into a thrall in its grip, count as kill points; the thrall reward costs the Core 50 from what it is digesting, not from its biomass.
  - A dead Core spends what it is digesting on its rebuilds until its lost units are back, for a quick defence.
  - The playtest launcher gives the game 6 gigabytes instead of 2.
Removed:
  - Guardians sliding to and fro along a face on their route, and hanging under overhangs.
Tweaked:
  - Each Guardian meal heals 15; a vine that eats heals to full.
  - Vines leave anything caught in a web alone.
  - Webs never slow or hold the colony's creatures, thralls or carried mobs.
  - Dragonflies treat leaves as a roof and fly over forests instead of pressing into the canopy.
  - Guardian legs no longer swing while standing still, and a foot left on the wrong side after a turn steps back.
  - Each hit from inside a vine's wrap opens it by a clear step again; the sliver of air had shrunk the step without anyone choosing that.
  - The flower's head no longer wanders up to half a block from its resting place as the stem sways; the gaze, lean and pull aim where the head is drawn.
