Compare Tooltips
See the armor, weapon or tool you have equipped right next to the item you hover, with the stat differences in green and red.
Hovering a diamond chestplate shows the worn iron chestplate next to it, with +2 Armor, +2 Armor Toughness and +288 durability left.
In a chest, a diamond sword is compared with the iron sword in your hand: +1 Attack Damage.
A fresh iron pickaxe versus a worn-out diamond pickaxe in hand: red for less damage, green for more durability left.
The /comparetooltips command shows and changes all settings without leaving the game.
