companioncodex-1.1.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
A big organisation-and-quality-of-life release. Filter tabs, favourites, saved party presets, a radial temporal wheel to replace the old cycle keys — plus a handful of real bug fixes, including one that made party pets render with the wrong skin.
New - Favourites
- Star any companion straight from the roster: click the ☆ before its name. Starred companions show a gold ★.
- New search filters:
#fav(also#favourite,#star) and their negations, e.g.#!fav. - New series filters:
#legendand#pet.
New - Filter tab drawer
A pull-out drawer on the left edge of the Codex, with one tab per useful filter.
- Tabs are generated from what your codex actually holds — there is never an empty tab. You get All, Favourites (once you star something), Legends / Pets (only when you own both), and one tab per temporal in use, drawn with that modifier's own icon.
- Tabs narrow the search instead of replacing it. You can sit on the Legends tab and still type a name.
- Slides out from behind the Codex when there's room, and overlays the list when there isn't — so it stays usable at every GUI scale.
- Scroll it with the mouse wheel, or grab the scrollbar thumb.
- Remembers whether it was open and which tab you were on, between sessions.
New - Saved parties
- The ✚ button beside the party header saves your staged party under a name.
- Each saved party is shown in the drawer with its leader's pet as the icon and its chosen modifier as a small corner badge. The badge defaults to the party's most common modifier; click it in the save popup to pick a different one.
- Click a saved party to load it. If you already have a party staged, you're asked before it gets replaced.
- When the staged party matches a saved one exactly, the ✚ turns into an ✕ to delete it. Change anything — a member, or the leader — and it flips back to ✚ so you can save the variant alongside the original.
- Presets store only which companions belong to them, so members keep levelling normally, and anyone you no longer own is simply skipped on load.
- Saved per player, in your save file.
New - Radial temporal wheel
The in-vault prev/next cycle keybinds are gone, replaced by a wheel.
- Hold the Companion Party Temporal key in a vault to open it; release over a segment to fire that temporal, or over the centre to cancel.
- One segment per companion temporal
- The leader is ringed in gold, each segment shows its effective duration, and already-spent temporals are greyed out and unselectable.
- Outside a vault, a tap of the same key opens the Codex from anywhere (unchanged behaviour, just moved onto this key).
Changed
- Default rest time is now 0, meaning no party penalty at all: every member simply rests for its own vault default cooldown. Existing configs are untouched.
- Companion Loyalty expertise now shortens party rest, the same way it does for a single equipped companion. New config option
use_companion_loyalty_expertise(default on) is appended to existingcodex.jsonfiles automatically. - Companion vault runs and age in days are shown in the roster tooltip and the detail popup.
- A companion counter in the title row shows
shown / totalwhile a filter is narrowing the list. - The party HUD now has an Enabled: On/Off toggle in its HUD module settings. Turning it off hides it in play but keeps it visible in the HUD editor, so you can always switch it back on.
- The HUD no longer marks a "currently selected" temporal — picking one moved to the wheel.
- Guide book rewritten: new sections for favourites, filter tabs and saved parties, and pagination that no longer leaves half-empty pages or breaks bullets across them.
Fixed
- A search could get stuck after resizing the window or changing GUI scale. The list stayed filtered by a query the now-empty search box no longer showed.
- Various Codex GUI fixes: drawer contents no longer bleed outside the panel, the drawer no longer flashes over the companion list when opening, modal popups now correctly cover the roster's 3D pet renders, and the empty-codex state no longer leaves a tab handle attached to nothing.
Performance
- The filter tab bar is now rebuilt only when the codex contents actually change, instead of every frame. Previously this walked every companion and parsed their temporal NBT once per frame, which was pure garbage-collection churn on large codexes
