Common Sense gives mobs some common sense, for Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge.
Companions
- Pets, golems and anything on a lead keep clear of lava and cliffs and keep up with you.
- They walk up hills instead of being yanked, and come down the safe way.
- In boats or on ice they get dragged along instead of snapping the lead.
- Pets are rescued from drowning, lava and deadly falls, and only teleport onto safe ground.
Villagers and golems
- Villagers remember their beds and find their way home when lost.
- They follow a player holding an emerald block, and stay put when you move them somewhere.
- Golems and guards walk back to their village.
Herd instinct
- Hurt one cow and the rest of the herd runs.
- Hit a spider and its friends come for you.
And
- Sleeping mobs stay visible at normal distances.
- Every feature has its own toggle in Mods → Common Sense → Config.
