Description

Tired of players disconnecting in the middle of a fight to avoid losing their hard-earned gear? The Combat Log Mod is a lightweight, robust, and completely server-side solution designed to enforce fair play and eliminate combat logging on your server.

Perfect for Ranked PvP, Factions, Anarchy, or any competitive survival environment!

⚔️ Key Features

  • Automatic Combat Detection: Automatically detects when a player engages in PvP combat (either hitting another player or getting hit).
  • Combat Timer (Tag): Places players in a "Combat State" for a customizable duration. If they remain safe, the tag expires automatically.
  • Combat Logger Punishment: If a player purposely disconnects, closes their game, or crashes while under the Combat Tag, they are instantly punished (e.g., killed on the spot, dropping their inventory for the attacker).
  • Actionbar / Chat Notifications: Keeps players informed of their current combat status and shows a countdown timer so they know exactly when it is safe to log out.
  • 100% Server-Side: No client-side installation required! Players can connect using a completely vanilla Minecraft client, making it seamless to integrate into existing servers.

⚙️ Configuration

The mod automatically generates a configuration file in your server's config/ folder. You can easily customize:

  • The duration of the combat tag (in seconds).
  • The specific punishment for logging out (Kill player, drop items, etc.).
  • Custom chat or actionbar messages.

🛠️ Compatibility

  • Platform: Fabric, NeoForge
  • Client Compatibility: Vanilla-compatible. Works perfectly with optimization clients like Lunar Client, Prism, and Sodium.
