Cobblemon Ultra Space

Explore an alien dimension through giant, glowing Ultra Wormholes. Built for Cobblemon on Minecraft 1.21.1 Fabric.

Features

• Craft an Ultra Scanner to detect the nearest active wormhole within 512 blocks of loaded terrain, including direction, distance and height.
• Explore connected terrain with mountains, valleys, water and caves.
• Discover random research stations, ruined observatories and crashed prisms with loot.
• Offer one Ultra Crystal at a Sun, Moon or Prism Shrine to summon a catchable level 70 Solgaleo, Lunala or Necrozma. Each shrine can be activated once, shared by the whole server.
• Giant animated wormholes appear in open air, only at night.
• Wormholes disappear after 90 seconds by default.
• Explore six Ultra biomes with mountains, valleys, water and caves, alien forests, crystal spires and ruins.
• Encounter all eleven Ultra Beasts, including Poipole and Naganadel.
• Search for rare Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala and Necrozma encounters.
• Discover loot chests with Beast Balls, Rare Candy and supplies.
• Receive an English field guide and an advancement on your first visit.
• English and German messages follow your game language.
• Configure spawn chances, portal lifetime, limits, ability cooldown and rescue settings.

Exploring Ultra Space

• Fly or build up to a wormhole, dismount and pass through its opening.
• Explore with increased jump height and slower falling.
• Use any exit wormhole to return near your own saved entry point.
• A healthy Arceus, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma or Palkia lets you open a wormhole with /ultraspace portal at night.
• If your entire party faints, you return safely after the battle ends.
• Falling into the void triggers a rescue. /ultraspace return provides an emergency exit outside battles.
• Use /ultraspace guide to replace your field guide after your first visit.

- Multiplayer

• Share wormholes with friends; entering does not consume the portal.
• Each player keeps their own return point, advancement, guide and travel cooldown.
• Party-faint rescue checks each player's own team.
• Natural spawn chances are rolled once per dimension, with a random eligible player chosen as the target. More players do not multiply the spawn rate.
• Server settings control portal behavior and the shared limit of loaded portals.
• Portal expiry continues while chunks are unloaded, using server game time. It pauses while the server is stopped.
• Install the same addon version on the server and every client.**

Developer / Datapack Features**

• Edit Pokémon spawn pools, biome resources and ruin loot through datapack overrides.
• Administrative commands: /ultraspace spawn, /ultraspace enter and /ultraspace reload require OP level 2.
• Check settings with /ultraspace status.
• The existing cobbleverse_ultraspace namespace is retained for save compatibility.**

Dependencies

• Minecraft Java 1.21.1 and Java 21.
• Fabric Loader 0.18.4 or newer.
• Fabric API for Minecraft 1.21.1.
• Cobblemon 1.7.3 for Fabric with its required dependencies.

Optional Compatibilities

• COBBLEVERSE: developed against the installed 1.7.42 profile; the modpack is optional.
• Pokémon model resource packs: required for species whose models are absent from your base Cobblemon installation. The addon does not include Pokémon models.
• ATMxMSD RP, MissingMons RP, PlanetaCobblemon RP and HydroReanimodel RP are present in the tested profile. Use compatible versions and the appropriate pack order.
• Iris / Sodium: the earlier portal renderer was checked in-game with the profile's shaders enabled.

Addons

• No extra addon, resource pack or datapack is needed for the dimension, wormholes, guide or advancement.
• The addon includes its own Pokémon spawn pools; existing spawns from other datapacks remain available.

Known Incompatibilities

• No confirmed incompatible mod has been identified in the tested COBBLEVERSE profile. This does not imply exhaustive testing of every mod combination.
• Forge and NeoForge are unsupported. Pixelmon cannot replace Cobblemon and is not a dependency.
• Do not install multiple versions of this addon together.
• Packs that override this addon's resources or disable its advancement can change or prevent the affected features.
• Other Ultra Space addons have not been tested together.

Updating Existing Worlds

New terrain and landmarks appear in previously ungenerated Ultra Space chunks. Explored chunks remain intact; visible terrain boundaries can occur. Back up your world before updating. Pixelmon is not required.

Ultra Crystals can be crafted on Peaceful using 4 Amethyst Shards, 4 Obsidian and 1 Diamond.
