Cobblemon Relics adds Pokémon-inspired weapons, armor and tools with unique abilities and animations.

Relics

Alolan Marowak Skull

A detailed 3D skull that can be placed as an orientable decorative block or crafted into a staff.

Alolan Marowak Staff

Hold Right Click to unleash a continuous mint-colored flamethrower 🔥, damaging and igniting creatures up to about 12 blocks away.

Water Shuriken

Right Click to throw a spinning water projectile that cuts supported plants and extinguishes fires. It uses energy: recharge near your own sent-out Greninja within 16 blocks.

Kleavor Arm Blade

Equip a blade in each hand and alternate fully charged attacks: Left Click for the main hand, Right Click for the offhand. Build a combo up to ×5; each blade also works as an axe.

Blastoise Shell

A chestplate that blocks attacks from behind. Double-tap Jump and hold the second press to fly with water jets 💧, which also extinguish fires. Release to stop; propulsion does not guarantee a safe landing.

Seviper Dagger

A fast melee weapon that inflicts stacking Toxic poison. Hold and release Right Click for a piercing throw; recover it within 5 seconds to empower your next melee hit with Poison Jab.

Magnezone Magnet

Hold Right Click on an ore to pull the intact block toward you; release to place it. It also attracts supported dropped resources. The defeated Magnezone’s size determines its range.

Bastiodon Shield

Block frontal attacks and repel nearby attackers; a perfectly timed block retaliates. Fall at least 4 blocks, look down and hold Right Click to perform a Bulldoze shockwave that scales with fall height.

Aegislash Shield

Block or parry to weaken melee attackers. Tap Left Click for a shield strike, or hold and release it for a ricocheting throw. Loyalty returns the shield automatically.

Magmortar Arm Cannon

Hold and release Right Click to fire a charged explosive fireball 🔥. Longer charging increases its power and blast size; strong recoil can launch you upward. It ignites creatures without setting blocks on fire.

Scovillain Seed

Plant on farmland to grow a guardian in about 2 minutes, or speed it up with bone meal. It attacks hostile mobs with Fire and Grass moves 🔥 🌿, drains health and heals in daylight.

Clawitzer Claw

Switch modes with Alt + mouse wheel: Bubble fires a pushing projectile, Hydro Pump releases a charged water beam, and Aqua Jet propels you forward. Water attacks also extinguish fires.

Eiscue Ice Face

A helmet that absorbs one attack or projectile before its ice shatters ❄️. The ice reforms after 20 seconds, or 10 seconds in a cold biome. Environmental damage is not absorbed.

Sneasler Claws

Hold in your main hand with an empty offhand. Slash with Left Click, or lunge with Right Click and hold to cling to walls and ceilings. Charge jumps to leap; attacks can inflict Toxic.

Torkoal Shell

A wearable or placeable portable furnace that stores heat from nearby hot blocks or slowly from sunlight while worn. It smelts normal furnace recipes and releases defensive smoke when struck from behind. Also adds Block of Raw Iron → Block of Iron smelting.

Excadrill Drill

Hold Left Click to mine at diamond harvest level. Switch between 1×1 and 3×3 with Alt + mouse wheel; mining supported earth blocks 🟤 repairs the drill. Normal drops and enchantments apply.

Gholdengo Board

Place on ground or water, then ride and steer with movement keys. Charge Jump for a leap; press Alt with a full coin gauge for Golden Rush, a drifting speed boost that damages creatures you hit.

Spidops Silk

A crafting material dropped by wild Spidops. Use it to craft the Spidops Web Launcher or repair one at an anvil.

Spidops Web Launcher

Hold Right Click to anchor a web and swing; use the mouse wheel to adjust rope length. Hold Left Click in the main hand to shoot slowing web patches. Release the anchor to keep your momentum.

How to obtain relics

With Cobblemon, wild Pokémon can drop relics after direct kills or Pokémon battle knockouts. Player-owned and trainer-owned Pokémon are excluded. Drops respect Cobblemon loot settings and roll once per Pokémon.

The mod does not add Pokémon spawns; species availability depends on your Cobblemon version and modpack. A planted Scovillain guardian returns one seed when destroyed or uprooted, subject to creature loot settings. A rare alternative for the Seviper Dagger: 1% of eligible naturally spawned zombies with an empty main hand receive one, which then follows vanilla equipment-drop rules.

Crafting

Only the four recipes below are added for these relics.

Alolan Marowak Staff

1 Alolan Marowak Skull + 2 bones in a vertical line.

Crafting recipe: one Alolan Marowak Skull above two bones produces one Alolan Marowak Staff.

Kleavor Arm Blade

3 Black Augurite + 2 wooden sticks. The mirrored axe pattern also works. Requires Cobblemon.

Crafting recipe: three Black Augurite and two wooden sticks in an axe pattern produce one Kleavor Arm Blade.

Gholdengo Board

3 Relic Coin Sacks in any horizontal row. Requires Cobblemon.

Crafting recipe: three Relic Coin Sacks in a horizontal row produce one Gholdengo Board.

Spidops Web Launcher

1 Spidops Silk, surrounded by 8 cobwebs.

Crafting recipe: one Spidops Silk in the center, surrounded by eight cobwebs, produces one Spidops Web Launcher.

Compatibility and modpacks

For multiplayer, install Cobblemon Relics on the server and every connecting client. This build targets Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric. Cobblemon provides the Pokémon drops, Black Augurite and Relic Coin Sack recipes, and Greninja-based recharging. Supports singleplayer, multiplayer and modpacks.
