Cobblemon Operators — 1.4

Changes since version 1.0.

Compatibility Fixes

  • Replaced the strict Fabric Loader 0.18.4 requirement with a minimum of 0.18.1.
  • Updated the optional Open Parties and Claims integration to its v2 API, tested against OpenPAC 0.31.6.
  • Fixed an outdated API call that could prevent Operator interactions and block breaking inside protected claims.
  • Preserved claim protection for unauthorized players.

Per-Player Machine Limits

  • Added configurable per-player limits for each of the 16 Operator machine types.

  • Per-type limits work alongside the existing global limit, across all dimensions.

  • Limits apply when placing machines or first claiming an unowned machine, including machines without assigned Pokémon.

  • Added an administration command:

    /cobblemonoperators config maxOperatorsPerPlayerByBlock <machine> <value>

  • Configuration changes are saved immediately.

  • A configured value of 0 means unlimited.

  • Lowering a limit does not remove existing machines.

LuckPerms Integration

  • Added optional permissions to increase individual players’ global and per-type limits:
    • cobblemon_operators.limit.total.<number>
    • cobblemon_operators.limit.<operator_id>.<number>
  • Supports inherited groups, contexts, explicit denials and temporary permissions.
  • Uses the highest authorized limit instead of adding permission values together.
  • Added explicit .unlimited permissions for either scope.
  • Global and per-type limits remain independent: increasing one does not bypass the other.
  • Personal machine listings now display the effective global limit.
  • LuckPerms remains optional and is not bundled with the mod.

Administrative Removal

  • Added /operators break [x y z] for authorized administrators.
  • Supports Operator machines and Storage blocks, including multiblock parts.
  • Bypasses player ownership and claim restrictions for this specific removal action.
  • Preserves inventory drops, structure cleanup and safe Pokémon return or recovery.
  • Refuses removal when required chunks, block entities or recovery guarantees are unavailable.
  • Added the permission cobblemon_operators.command.admin.break.

Internal Improvements

  • Added constant-time per-player, per-machine counting.
  • Expanded automated tests and isolated server validation.
  • Added English and French limit messages.
  • Preserved existing block IDs, recipes, visuals, inventories, Pokémon assignments and save formats.

Update Notes

  • Update both client and server for complete compatibility and translated messages.
  • LuckPerms is only needed on the server when using permission-based limit increases.
  • Existing worlds do not require a reset.
