Cobblemon Field Survival 0.17.0-beta.2 — First Steps

The first public beta of Cobblemon Field Survival.

This release turns fielded Pokémon into active survival companions, giving them meaningful roles outside traditional battles.

Highlights

• Added the Field Skill and profession system.

• Pokémon can assist with mining, excavation, logging, farming, fishing, cooking, smithing, enchanting and more.

• Added Pokémon Stamina and Exhaustion for field actions.

• Added Water Work, including swimming support, Water Breathing and container filling.

• Added trainer-support passives such as Warmth, Cooling, Protection, Threat Sense and Ghost Presence.

• Added Pokémon combat commands against normal Minecraft creatures.

• Added long-range G Ping targeting for creatures, players and locations.

• Added type-based Buff and Debuff field abilities.

• Added cooperative Pokémon Synergies and survival techniques.

• Added Fairy healing and Stamina Recovery.

• Stamina Recovery now scales with Preservation, restoring 33–99 stamina while costing 66–33 stamina.

• Added Fire Pokémon cooking and frozen-food interaction.

• Added Ground Pokémon mining support.

• Added professions including Blacksmith, Sentinel, Phantom and Commander.

• Added dynamic action-wheel tooltips showing current Pokémon effects, stamina costs and cooldowns.

• Improved action-wheel icons and UI descriptions.

• Razor Leaf now behaves as a projectile.

• Poliwrath now uses Water Gun as its ranged field attack and Ice Punch in melee.

• Added optional compatibility architecture for Legendary Survival Overhaul, Tough As Nails, First Aid New and Food Spoilage.

• Numerous balance fixes, configuration cleanups and multiplayer/server improvements.

Beta Notice

This is a beta release. Balance, compatibility and field-action behavior may continue to change based on testing and community feedback.

Bug reports are especially helpful when they include the Pokémon species, action used, installed compatibility mods and relevant logs.
