Cobblemon Equivalent Exchange
Find a forgotten tablet, give it life with Rotom, and turn spare resources into the items you need.
Cobblemon Equivalent Exchange (CEE) brings item transmutation to your Cobblemon adventure through CobblePoints (CP) and a portable, Rotom-powered device: the RotomPad.
CEE began as CPI — Cobblemon ProjectE Integration, an addon connecting Cobblemon items to ProjectE's EMC system. It has since grown into its own exchange system, with CobblePoints, RotomPad progression and a dedicated interface but now no longer depends on ProjectEF Neo.
From OldPad to RotomPad
Your journey starts with an OldPad, a worn tablet with a cracked screen. Discover one while fishing or exploring temple and ancient city chests.
Hold it, sneak-right-click your own sent-out Rotom, and choose to let Rotom inhabit the pad through Cobblemon's interaction wheel.
This fusion is permanent. Rotom leaves your party and cannot be separated from the pad. Held and cosmetic items are returned, and a record of your Rotom remains inside the device.
Give your Rotom a nickname before fusion to name its new home: Volt becomes VoltPad. Without a nickname, it becomes RotomPad.
Neither pad has a crafting recipe or can be created through CP exchange.
Fuse
Watch your Rotom gather electricity, shrink into a spark and enter the OldPad's screen. A flash and startup chime mark the moment your worn tablet becomes a RotomPad.

Learn, exchange and recreate
- Learn by absorbing: exchange supported items for CP and add them to your personal library.
- Recreate what you know: spend CP to withdraw learned items, one at a time or up to a stack.
- Take it with you: open your RotomPad with right-click, K, or
/ceewhile carrying it. - Find items quickly: search your library and browse 60-item pages using custom arrow buttons.
- Keep things readable: compact tooltips show the item name, CP value and origin mod. English and Vietnamese text are included.
The pad features custom 3D item models, an orange device frame, a rotating Poké Ball boot animation and an animated Rotom fusion sequence.
Open
Open your RotomPad to see a rotating Poké Ball boot animation, followed by your item library, inventory and CP balance. Search for a learned item and recreate it directly from the device.

Your pad, your library
Each newly fused pad is bound to its trainer. Its interface shows the owner's name, CP balance and learned library. Older pads without ownership are claimed by the first player who opens them after updating.
Only the owner can learn or absorb. Other players carrying that pad can still withdraw learned items by spending the owner's CP, even while the owner is offline. Their personal balance and knowledge stay separate.
Giving someone your pad also gives them spending access to your CP.
Balance and customization
CEE assigns CP values to supported vanilla and Cobblemon items, with progression and rarity in mind. Some special or progression-sensitive items are excluded from exchange. Modified, damaged, renamed or filled items must match an approved template before they can be absorbed or recreated.
Modpack creators can customize values and exclusions through configuration and datapacks. Values may change as balancing improves.

Credits and inspiration
A big thank-you to ProjectE/ProjectEF Neo and its contributors. Its EMC and transmutation gameplay inspired CEE's exchange loop: learn an item, convert resources into value, and use that value to recreate what you need.
Thanks also to the Cobblemon team for the world these little devices belong to.
Modpacks and feedback
Modpack inclusion is welcome. Please use the official project page or a platform that references the original project.
Found a missing or unreasonable CP value? Leave a comment with the item name or ID, your CEE and Cobblemon versions, the current value, your suggested value and why you would change it. Bug reports and ideas for future updates are welcome too.
