Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
New Feature
- Finance Management screen: the entry button in Meowth Bank now opens Finance Management — a screen with four tabs (that button used to open the card management screen directly). The tabs are:
- Loan Ban: type a player name (with autocomplete) plus a duration and a reason to add them to the list — listed players cannot take loans (⚠ deposits, withdrawals and repayments still work: repayments must keep working, since paying back is how a player clears their overdue status). Players are also removed from the list on this tab
- Cards: the list of purple / black card holders, with a revoke button on each row (everything the old card management screen did)
- Credits: look up a player and set their borrowable limit to whatever you want (see the next entry)
- Change Log: a ledger of all of the above plus self-service card applications (who, when, to whom, what, and the previous value), written to its own CSV under config/cobblemarket/finance/ — kept separate from the trading / loan / ban / permission ledgers, so each can be read on its own. ⚠ This ledger starts recording with this version; earlier card grants / revokes have no history
- Top Limits: the top 50 borrowable limits server-wide (pulled automatically when you open the tab, or on demand via the Refresh button) — ⭐ for discovering players with suspiciously high limits and seeing how far ahead the #1 is (previously you could only look up names you already knew, so players you had not thought of stayed invisible). Each row has the same "set limit" button, so a suspicious row can be adjusted right there
- The borrowable limit can now be adjusted by hand: the limit used to be computed from a formula only, and it never went down (not even on overdue loans), so a server owner facing a player with an illegitimately high limit had only a ban as a blunt instrument. Finance Management can now lower a player's limit, or zero it. ⚠ It does not pin that number down — what gets stored is a correction applied on top of the formula, so afterwards repayments and a growing trade volume still move it. That is exactly why a zeroed limit can grow back: stopping it from growing would be the same thing as a ban. ⚠ Card holders cannot be adjusted (their limit comes from the card config and does not use the formula) — the button is greyed out for them. ⚠ The affected player receives a notice (including the reason you typed)
- Pokémon nicknames are now shown: hover windows, dialogs and chat broadcasts show the nickname a player gave their Pokémon
- Pokémon icons now blink and do idle quirks: the 3D Pokémon shown in interfaces blink at random intervals, and some species occasionally play a little idle animation (e.g. Timburr turning its log, Lucario shifting about)
- A notice now pops up when someone else lists something: when another player lists a Pokémon or an item on either market, or puts one up for auction, a round bubble drops down from the top of your screen (showing that Pokémon's 3D model / that item's icon) along with a short chime
- New "Market ID Card" screen: click the card at the bottom of the entry screen to open your own market ID — your 3D avatar on the left, and two columns on the right listing everything you have in this system: listings / auctions / buy orders / pending returns, balance, borrowable limit, debt, deposits and interest, lifetime trade volume, and your Pokédex seen / caught counts (those two Pokédex lines use Cobblemon's own Pokédex icons). ⚠ The background image can be replaced with your server's own: drop an image into config/cobblemarket/idcard/ and enter its file name in the server config (leave it blank to use the built-in one) — the built-in image leaves the top area empty on purpose, for server owners to add a title or a mascot
- Showcase to chat: a new showcase button on the entry screen (left of Settings) opens two sub-buttons (Pokémon / Item) — pick one to post it to server chat, hover the message for the full details; hold X to quickly showcase the selected party Pokémon / the item in your main hand (rebindable). The cooldown defaults to 10 seconds (adjustable at the bottom of the server config screen, 1–3600 seconds; shared by Pokémon / ID card / item showcases)
- The Market ID Card can be showcased too: a "Showcase to chat" button on your ID Card screen; the entry showcase menu now has Pokémon / ID Card / Item; holding X shows an extra ID Card box below the other two. Hovering the chat message shows the whole card
- A keybind for the Market ID Card: defaults to I (rebindable in Controls)
- New "Player Overview" screen: the admin panel gained an entry (behind the new "Player Overview" permission node), listing every player on the server on one line each — the right-hand cell shows the field you currently sort by, with name search and sorting by any field (balance / limit / debt / deposits / trade volume / Pokédex counts and more); hovering a row brings up that player's full info card (item by item the same as the Market ID Card). ⚠ Offline players show the data recorded while they were last online (marked as such on the line); online players show live values. ⚠ This feature adds a network packet ⇒ both client and server must be updated (updating only one side will fail to connect)
- A third animation when clicking a Pokémon icon: the battle intro: some species (e.g. Ceruledge) play a dedicated "battle intro" in the world when they enter battle, transitioning from their standing pose into their battle stance. Clicking an icon, expanding a Pokémon in chat, or holding X to showcase now picks at random (equal odds) between the normal cry / the battle cry / the battle intro; the celebration animation for a bought / won Pokémon picks between the battle cry / the battle intro. The intro is only in the pool for species that actually have one and whose animation carries its own cry — a click is never silent
Changes
- "Also block loans" moved to the Finance Management screen: it used to be a toggle in the ban confirmation dialog (ticked while banning someone); it is now a separate list on the Finance Management screen's "Loan Ban" tab — finance belongs on the finance side, and bans only cover trading. ⚠ The ban ledger (config/cobblemarket/bans/) drops its "Block Loans / Prev Block Loans" columns accordingly
- Buy order IV requirements are now "at least": the six IV fields when creating a buy order used to match exactly (entering 20 meant only an IV of exactly 20 was accepted); they are now a lower bound (20 or higher). The field placeholders show "≥" as well. ⚠ Existing buy orders follow the same rule — it is only more permissive, so anything that could be delivered before still can be
- Meowth Bank: the deposit / withdraw screen now shows your current balance: on servers with the balance HUD turned off, there was no way to tell how much cash you had available to deposit — a "Wallet balance" line now sits above the deposit balance
Fixes
- Buy orders: "View pending delivery" in chat opened an empty dialog: after you rejected a delivery, that old chat notice stays — clicking it again opened a blank confirmation dialog (a few empty rows + Accept / Reject buttons) even though there was no pending delivery on that order anymore. It now shows "This buy order has no pending delivery right now" instead of opening an empty dialog
- Buy orders: the quantity overlapped the remaining time in item rows: with a longer price range, "× N" ran into the remaining time on its left. They now keep out of each other's way; when there is not enough room, the remaining time is omitted from the row (the full expiry time is still shown in the tooltip)
- Buy orders: the currency unit stuck out of the tooltip: the currency unit at the end of the price line (an item icon when using item currency) was drawn outside the tooltip. It is now taken into account when measuring the width
- Pending returns: returned Pokémon showed their default form: after a delivery was rejected and the Pokémon went back to the pending-returns screen, it was rendered in its default form (e.g. an Alolan form drawn as the normal one) — claiming it gave the correct Pokémon. It now uses the actual form
- Meowth Bank: the deposit screen's daily rate hid the real precision: after the anti-arbitrage guard clamped the rate to 0.00047619, the deposit screen still showed 0.05% (identical to what 0.00047 showed), so it was impossible to tell whether the configured value took effect. It now shows the actual precision (0.047619% / 0.047%), up to 6 decimals with trailing zeros trimmed
