Information
A Cobblemon Randomlocke for Fabric: Randomizer and Nuzlocke challenge in one mod, with one settings menu, world-wide randomization tables, and a biome event lock that forces an encounter when you step into a new biome.

Config Menu
Everything is set from a menu, opened for the first player to join a world or at any time with /cobblelocke config. There are four tabs: Nuzlocke, Randomizer, Starters and Trainers.
There are 3 default presets: Classic Nuzlocke, Classic Randomlocke and Cobblelocke's Randomlocke, a preset I used when playing on a private server with some friends, you can create your own saving it and exporting it to config with /cobblelocke export or by modifying config/cobblelocke/presets.json5.

The Event Lock
If you walk into a biome you have never visited, an animation plays before dropping you into a battle with a randomized Cobblemon. That Cobblemon is the biome's first catch: until it is caught or gone, nothing else there can be caught.
There are three animation sets:
Cobblelocke Minecraft: Pokémon inspired animations using a minecraft style Action: Cartoon/flashy animations Retro: Black fade ins inspired by the old Pokémon gens

Nuzlocke Rules
Includes one catch per biome or per block region of a chosen size. No duplicates across a whole evolution line, with an option to free a line once every Cobblemon you had from it has fainted. Permadeath, release on faint, drop held items on faint, terrain/pvp faints, shiny clause, catch only in-battle, catch cooldown, and most importantly the nickname rule:

Randomizer
Includes randomizing wild spawns for species, types, abilities, movepools and held items. Any of them can be made global: this creates one fixed table for the whole world, so every Pikachu anywhere reads the same entry, written out to the world folder as a JSON.
Random movepools are learned by level as usual rather than arriving fully unlocked, Cobblemon that evolve gets a fresh learnable set while keeping what it already knows.

Starters
Pick from random Cobblemon drawn from any of the (currently) ten regional Pokedexes. Includes being able to set it so that the offered starters are the traditional Grass / Fire / Water trios, tri-evolution lines only, and no legendaries.

Trainers
Trainer teams are rebuilt as a battle opens, which includes Cobblemon NPCs, Radical Cobblemon Trainers and any NPC that starts a fight. Set base stat total ranges, level caps, team sizes, and randomize types, abilities, movepools and held items, and whether every battle is a double battle, a single, or random.
Gym leaders get their own settings And each can be also modified to have a custom BST range, level caps and team sizes, recomended for the Cobbleverse modpack!

Compatibility
- Requires Cobblemon 1.8.1 or Cobblemon 1.8
- Mega Showdown 1.0.2 - options to have wild Cobblemon be randomly Terastyllized or be Megaevolved and have the mega stone for their form equipped, and options for trainers to use Teras, Megas and Dynamax.
- Radical Cobblemon Trainers and Cobbleverse: full trainer and gym leader support.
- Cobblemon Raid Dens 0.11.8: an option to let raid bosses be battled but never caught.
- AllTheMons, Missingmons and any other species pack are picked up automatically, as this mod reads Cobblemon's live registries rather than a hardcoded species list, so anything a datapack adds is picked up! probably…

Installing
Drop the jar into mods/ alongside:
- Fabric Loader 0.17.2 or newer
- Fabric API 0.116.6+1.21.1 or newer
- Cobblemon 1.8.1
- Java 21
Install it on both the client and the server. The server enforces every rule and the client draws the menu and plays the animations. A client without it can still play, it just cannot open the menu and watch the event lock animations.

Configuration
Config files are in config/cobblelocke/config.json5, and the presets are in presets.json5. A server that has the file starts its run without anyone having to open the menu, and serverConfigMode decides who has access to the commands.
