Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Coastal Waves Fabric Port 1.6.10
Performance Optimization
- Added configurable limits for active waves per player and per dimension.
- Added a configurable maximum number of spawn attempts per wave spawn sequence.
- Added automatic cleanup for waves that are too far from all players.
- Added active-wave management to avoid expensive global entity searches every tick.
- Optimized wave spawn distribution to make better use of the available spawn attempts while preserving the existing render-distance behavior.
- Optimized wave interaction checks by skipping expensive entity queries when no player is nearby.
- Changed cache initialization and updates to incremental processing across multiple ticks, reducing CPU spikes when entering or creating a world.
- Improved cache invalidation and processing across player movement, chunk updates and multiple dimensions.
- Reworked nearest-shore cache processing to avoid large single-tick calculations.
- Removed unsafe parallel world/chunk access from world-dependent calculations.
- Optimized frequent distance checks using squared distances where applicable.
Configuration
- Added the following performance settings:
maxActiveWavesPerPlayer = 48maxActiveWavesPerDimension = 128maxSpawnAttemptsPerSequence = 96waveCleanupDistance = 96.0waveInteractionPlayerDistance = 48.0
- Added validation for the new performance settings.
