A seamless laundry experience that is definitely not an item transport mod for Fabric.
Hang your stuff on a clothesline to dry! Build a vast network of clotheslines and roll it around with a crank to maximize exposure to sunlight! Automate your laundry!
Clothesline is currently incomplete. Features are limited to:
- Clothesline Anchors: Place them anywhere on the ground, the wall or even the ceiling.
- Clotheslines: Craft them with Wool and a Spinner. Hang them between Clothesline Anchors. Attach clothes to leave them to dry.
- Cranks: Attach on a Clothesline Anchor and spin to send your clothes flying!
- Inventory interaction (temporary): Use hoppers or modded inventory interaction blocks with Clothesline Anchors to automatically attach and detach items on Clotheslines.
Planned features include:
- Automated clothesline movement.
- Advanced automation of attachment and detachment of items on Clotheslines.
- Sorting.
any chance on a 1.19 version
I was remembering this mod, thinking "huh, that seems like it would synergise well with Create." Glad to see this is being kept alive with Fabric, makes sense, clothesline. There does seem to be progress in porting Create to Fabric. Once that's done, maybe you could add some way to use rotational from energy from create?

Oh, create is coming to fabric? when??
excellent mod
Somewhy this crashes on 1.16.5
This mod would work perfectly with create.
Good mod! I'm looking forward to the Automated clothesline movement
Time to update to 1.16.4

yeah
this is a wonderfully effective way to dry my minecraft laundry. the addition of "slip-lines" that allow clothesline items to coast under their own momentum and are affected by gravity would be ideal, as my minecraft hands get minecraft tired of cranking the little lever all the time. i suppose what i'm saying is that i just want my clothes to go very fast down a mountain.
less ideal is the idea that the player could use a tool to "hook" onto these "slip-lines" and travel very quickly across long distances, which could be rather dangerous. they should only be used for the intended purpose of moving clothes down mountains.
CLOTHESLINES Mod Spotlight Video:
I know that you must have read this alot but: This is such a great idea! You rock dude!
If you want some suggestions:
Red Stone interoperability
Auto-Spinner (Both Redstone powered or furnace powered)
Cutting point (A certain point which drops the items or store them in an container)
Shooting arrows drop items (Cool for thefting items that are hanging)
-- Different kinds of ropes (for example, string ropes can't hold much weight such as armors or item stacks, or ropes that don't drop items or can't drop items if not done by the owner\redstone etc)
Sway (items are hanging, as they move, they have inertia and they sway within the air, and after they stop, there is the deceleration effect)
Well, you're pretty standup guy, nice job!!!!!
Good lord this mod is awesome xD
Everything is so perfect about it, the graphics, the mechanics, the sounds, the centripetal force working on items on turns, the animations- just everything. Wow. I want to be like you one day. Thank you.
Thats crazy cant wait to use it lol
I used to love playing around with this mod, are there any plans for an update to 1.16?
In reply to sattrnn:
Wow! Thank you!
1.15.2 please?
I kind of want to learn Java and modding so I can backport this to old versions of Minecraft like beta 1.7.3. It'll probably be really frustrating to do this kind of rendering in such an old version but I still think that it would be very useful. Maybe a simplified hopper to put items into containers, and some sort of other contraption to remove items. And then longer distances need to be managed with water streams and minecarts. I'd probably backport comparators and add some way to collect ice without backporting enchantments. Add in my take on a hunger/food system, make sure everything is multiplayer compatible, maybe port the Aether to multiplayer or adapt an existing port, and then bam there's a modpack.
is there any way to take out the objects with a hopper or something?
