Description

Climate Hearth lets you gradually transform Minecraft biomes through a magical system of territorial boundaries, biome casts, and fuel. Choose the area you want to change, preview its boundaries on the ground, and activate a hearth to spread a new climate across it.

To begin, place Amethyst Pegs around your chosen territory and connect them in order with the Resonance Wand. You can create custom polygon shapes, including concave outlines. A glowing purple particle trail connects the pegs, while a turquoise ground overlay previews the area that will receive the new biome.

Once your contour is closed:

  1. Place a Climate Hearth inside it.

  2. Use the wand on the hearth to bind the territory.

  3. Insert a Biome Cast for your desired biome.

  4. Add lapis lazuli, bone meal, or redstone as fuel.

  5. Activate the hearth with flint and steel or a redstone signal.

The transformation spreads outward from the hearth as a gradual wave. Fuel is consumed as the wave advances, with one fuel item covering each processed 4×4 biome column. If fuel runs out, the process pauses until you refill it. Progress is saved with the world, and work also pauses if a required marker is missing or the next necessary chunk is unloaded.

Climate Hearth includes casts and crafting recipes for all 67 vanilla biomes in Minecraft 26.3, covering the Overworld, Nether, End, and The Void. Casts are reusable and crafted from themed ingredients.

Changing a biome affects its climate, biome-dependent visuals, and natural spawning conditions. Existing blocks, terrain, and structures remain in place. Selected columns change throughout the world’s height, including underground areas.

Transformations follow Minecraft’s native biome storage system. The ground preview accounts for vanilla biome sampling, although grass and water colors can still appear softened by biome blending.

Requires Minecraft Java 26.3, Fabric Loader, and Fabric API. Install the mod on both the server and clients when playing multiplayer.
