# Cinematic First Person Compat - Fabric Build
**An unofficial Fabric build of [Cinematic Interact First Person Compat by Tewlyzz](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/cinematic-interact-first-person-compat/files/9301125).**
Temporarily hides the body rendered by First-person Model during Cinematic
Interactions scenes, including the approach and return transitions. When a
scene ends, it respects the player's existing FirstPerson toggle.
This derivative packages an installable Fabric JAR from the original MIT
source archive. The original Java source files and compiled gameplay classes
are unchanged from the local build used in Voxy Enhanced Vanilla. Changes
are limited to project identity, version metadata, a dedicated icon, build
documentation and Minecraft version targeting.
## Supported setup
- Minecraft Java Edition **1.21.11**, **Fabric**.
- Fabric Loader **0.20.1 or newer**; 0.20.1 is the tested reference.
- Java **21 or newer**. The source modpack uses Java 25.
- **Cinematic Interactions 0.18.3** and **First-person Model 2.7.3** are the
upstream versions used to validate the original local build.
- Client-side addon. A dedicated server does not need this JAR.
Install the two upstream mods as well. Without their integration APIs, this
addon stays inactive. Other Minecraft versions and loaders are not supported
by this distribution.
## Configuration and installation
Put this JAR in the client's `mods/` directory. Install only one build with
the ID `cinematic_firstperson_compat`: do not combine this distribution with
the original addon, the earlier local build or another derivative.
Configuration: `config/cinematic-firstperson-compat.properties`.
The default is `enabled=true`; restart Minecraft after changing it.
## Credits and license
Original implementation: **Tewlyzz and Cinematic Interact First Person Compat
contributors**. Original source: [CurseForge file 9301125](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/cinematic-interact-first-person-compat/files/9301125).
Fabric build, distribution packaging, documentation and new icon:
**K9 / Chris Heverton**. This is an independent derivative, not an official
release by Tewlyzz, Cinematic Interactions or First-person Model.
The original **MIT license and copyright notice are preserved** in the JAR.
This package does not bundle the upstream mods, Minecraft or Fabric Loader.
## Verification
The original ten behavior checks pass, and the two runtime class files match
the local build byte for byte. The user previously confirmed the correction
in that source modpack. A new gameplay session was not run for this metadata
and artwork revision; this does not claim new tests on other loaders or versions.
