Chutes

Chutes is a simple mod that adds 2 new blocks: the Wooden Chute and the Wooden Entry Chute.

These act exactly as you would expect from looking at them, they are nothing more than hollow vertical blocks. They can have several uses, such as:

• Funnelling dropped items launched from Droppers and such.
• Making compact elevators with the help of fans.
• Making air filled holes through water.

Of course, you can do all of these things with an empty space surrounded by solid blocks on all 4 sides, but Chutes do that in only a single block's space on top of being cheaper. You can see that in the Images tab.
