Chef's House 1.2.0

Chef's House 1.2.0

Fixes

  • Fixed a kitchen-linking bug where building a second kitchen (or even just a lone Chef Calling Station) near an existing one could steal that kitchen's menu board and orphan both, especially when the new station was still uncommitted (no board of its own yet).
  • Fixed the menu search box never losing focus after clicking elsewhere on the screen, which silently swallowed keyboard shortcuts (including closing the inventory) until the screen was reopened.
  • Fixed food tooltips in the menu screen not passing the actual item through to Forge's tooltip pipeline, so other installed mods (AppleSkin, Quark, etc.) never got a chance to add their own hunger/food info.

New

  • The chef can now discover and cook "large meal" dishes whose recipe result is a placeable block rather than a direct food item (Farmer's Delight-style feast furniture, or an addon mod's dish crafted at a plain table) - detected generically by recipe shape (mostly-food, multiple distinct ingredients, non-stackable result), not by hardcoding any specific mod.
  • Menu search now supports @modname to filter to one mod's foods (JEI-style) and can search by the effects a food grants when eaten.
  • Only one unbuilt blueprint preview is allowed at a time, and it's automatically cancelled if you stop holding the blueprint in the hand that placed it.
  • Mining speed: the Chef Calling Station responds to a pickaxe; the Menu Board, Ingredient Pantry, and Serving Cabinet respond to an axe.
  • Optional Create integration: sneak + right-click a functional block with a wrench to recover it straight into your inventory (storage contents are preserved, not duplicated).
  • Optional JEI integration: JEI's recipe-lookup hotkeys now work while hovering a food icon in the menu screen.
  • Food tooltips in the menu no longer show custom hunger/saturation text - they defer entirely to whatever food-info mod (if any) the player has installed, matching what they're used to seeing everywhere else.
