Chat Rewind

Chat Rewind gives the chat input undo and redo controls, helps recover unsent messages and lets you open chat from the death screen.

Features

• Press Ctrl+Z to undo edits to the message you are typing.
• Press Ctrl+Y to redo an edit you have undone.
• If you close chat with Escape, reopen it and press Ctrl+Z to recover your unsent text.
• If you die while typing, your chat stays open and keeps your unsent message.
• On the death screen, press your normal chat key (T by default) to open chat.

Draft History

• The Draft History is stored in the memory during the current game session. Sending a message resets the editing history; restarting the game clears it. Chat Rewind is an editing aid for unsent messages, not a backup of your chat logs.

• Minecraft 1.20.1
• Forge 47.x
• Java 17
• No additional mods are required.
