What's new

Census 1.0.0 — first public release.

Every villager (plus tagged animals and hostiles) gets a name, a Big Five personality, memories, a family, and feelings, and emergent stories arise from how you treat them: grudges, gossip, revenge, courtship, gifts, and more.

  • Look at a mob for a quick HUD; right-click with the Census Book for a full profile (personality, what it thinks of you, recent memories).
  • Reputation spreads by gossip; a slain parent is avenged by distant kin.
  • Tropes, behaviours and censused species are datapack JSON (/reload-able).
  • Emotion particles, gravestones, English & 日本語, full server config.

Requires Minecraft 1.21.11 · NeoForge 21.11+ · Java 21.
