Census
Every mob in your world is someone. Census gives villagers — and tagged animals and monsters — a name, a personality, memories, a family, and feelings. They remember what you do to them. Their friends hear about it. Their children grow up knowing it. Nothing here is scripted; the stories emerge.
What happens in a Census world
- Walk up to a villager and a small card shows who they are and how they feel. Right-click them with the Census Book for their full profile — personality, what they think of you, and their recent memories.
- Hurt one and they remember it. Hurt them enough and they flee on sight — the timid break first, the brave hold out. Word spreads: villagers who never saw it come to distrust you too.
- Be kind and it's also remembered. Win a villager over and one day they'll walk up and hand you a gift.
- Villagers form bonds, pair off for life, and raise children who inherit their parents' temperament. Kill someone's parent and a vengeful child — even one far away or asleep in an unloaded chunk — will come for you.
- Strong feelings show as particles; the fallen leave inscribed gravestones.
Made to be extended

Notes
- Server-friendly: heavy work is spread across ticks and bounded; a single
socialEnabled=falseswitch gives the lightest setting. Everything tunable in the config. - Languages: English, 日本語.
