🌌 Celestial Hand
Grab the Moon. Crush it in a colossal cosmic hand. Throw it at your world.
Celestial Hand gives you the Celestial Gauntlet, a cosmic weapon that lets you pick any of 29 planets, moons, stars or a black hole and hurl it at the ground. Every throw plays a fully animated cinematic. Every impact leaves a permanent, world-scarring crater.
▎ ⚠️ This mod permanently destroys huge areas of your world. Back up first! The first throw in each world asks you to confirm. Operators can roll throws back with /cataclysm undo.
✨ How it works
- Right-click (or press G) to open the Celestial Selector. It shows rotating 3D previews, real sizes and temperatures, fun facts, and a Blast Class from I to X.
- Use the Yield slider to throw anything from 5% to full power.
- Sneak to see an aim preview ring the exact size of the crater.
- Sneak + right-click to throw!
🎬 The cinematic
The camera rockets into space as your world shrinks into a round planet. A photorealistic colossal hand emerges from the darkness and grabs your chosen body. Its fingers physically wrap the surface, with no clipping. Then comes the windup, anime-style impact frames, and a chase cam as the body plunges back toward your world. You watch it hit the ground before everything explodes. Press ESC to skip.
💥 World-breaking impacts
- Natural craters dug down to bedrock, with raised rims, basalt columns and molten rock.
- Stars leave lava seas and lava rivers. The biggest blasts crack the world open.
- Shockwaves flatten trees, scorch the land, boil water and start fires.
- Thousands of flaming meteors, each digging its own crater with a Meteorite to mine.
- Ocean impacts flood the crater and send out a tsunami.
- A black hole pulls in blocks and mobs, then collapses into the biggest explosion of all.
- Everyone in the dimension sees the flash, fireball, shockwave dome and mushroom cloud. Then comes a red sky and nuclear winter.
- Players in the blast zone get an inbound-impact warning with a countdown and siren.

- /celestialpreview <body> plays the whole show on your screen only. Nothing is harmed.
⚙️ Server-friendly
- Destruction is time-sliced, so the server keeps running even during huge blasts.
- Fully configurable, with an in-game config screen: op-only mode, cinematic-only mode (all visuals, no damage), protected zones, size caps and a low-end visuals mode.
- Admin tools: /cataclysm undo, history, cancel, strike, status.
