Catalogue Translation Expansion 1.0.1

This maintenance update improves translation coverage, compatibility metadata, licensing consistency, and release quality across all supported Minecraft versions.

Translation updates

• Added 13 new complete modern translations:

  • Afrikaans (af_za)

  • Azerbaijani (az_az)

  • Belarusian (be_by)

  • Bosnian (bs_ba)

  • Greek (el_gr)

  • Basque (eu_es)

  • Persian (fa_ir)

  • Armenian (hy_am)

  • Icelandic (is_is)

  • Georgian (ka_ge)

  • Kazakh (kk_kz)

  • Albanian (sq_al)

  • Tamil (ta_in)

• Increased complete modern translation coverage from 38 to 51 languages.

• Catalogue Translation Expansion continues to support 108 historical primary locale codes.

• 101 primary locale codes are covered by the current Minecraft 26.2 language policy.

• Rare or low-confidence languages continue to use English fallback rather than speculative translations.

• Existing official Catalogue translations continue to take priority.

Version and compatibility fixes

• Corrected Minecraft 1.21.5 support information.

• Confirmed that Catalogue had a genuine Minecraft 1.21.5 release.

• Added the correct Minecraft 1.21.5 resource pack format: 55.

• Removed Minecraft 1.21.2 from upload compatibility guidance because Catalogue does not have a published 1.21.2 release.

• Re-audited Catalogue up to Catalogue 1.12.3 / Minecraft 26.2.

• No additional upstream English localization keys are currently missing.

Packaging and metadata

• Updated all release artifacts from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1.

• Rebuilt all 13 release JARs.

• Standardized project and packaged license metadata to MIT.

• Updated Forge, Fabric and NeoForge metadata.

• Updated release documentation and compatibility information.

Build and QA improvements

• Release JARs are now fully reproducible.

• ZIP/JAR timestamps are normalized.

• GitHub Actions now performs two consecutive builds and verifies that their outputs are identical.

• Updated GitHub Actions dependencies to current stable major versions.

• JSON localization files are automatically validated.

• Translation placeholders such as %s are automatically checked.

• Loader metadata and resource pack metadata are automatically validated.

• SHA-256 checksums are generated for every release JAR.

• Minecraft 1.16.5: Java 8

• Minecraft 1.17.1: Java 16

• Minecraft 1.18 → 1.20.4: Java 17

• Minecraft 1.20.5 → 1.21.11: Java 21

• Minecraft 26.1 → 26.2: Java 25

Legacy versions

Older Catalogue versions contain fewer localization keys than modern releases. Their historical translations are intentionally preserved instead of adding localization keys that did not exist in those versions.

Catalogue is still required. Catalogue Translation Expansion only provides additional localization resources and does not replace or modify Catalogue's gameplay functionality.
