Capes Anywhere 1.0.9

Fabric. Five files, one per Minecraft line. Pick the one for your version:

There is no Forge or NeoForge build. Sinytra Connector can run it inside NeoForge, but that route is not officially supported.

This is the first file after the project was tidied up: the older files are archived. Below is what 1.0.9 changes, then what the mod does.

New in 1.0.9

• No more OptiFine Custom tab. You can no longer wear the OptiFine cape of another name: an OptiFine cape is paid for by its owner, so only they wear it. Anyone who had one on, on any version, has had it taken off: older versions are told to drop it, with a message saying why, and the service no longer passes it on to anybody. Your own OptiFine cape is still in the OptiFine tab.
• Banners button. The OptiFine tab has a button that opens the list of banner designs on OptiFine's website, the designs you can put on your OptiFine cape.
• Support on the website. The support button at the top of the main screen opens capesanywhere.com/supporto, where you can open a ticket and get an answer from the owner or a moderator.
• The website moved to capesanywhere.com. The globe button next to the heart, at the bottom right of the main screen, now takes you there.

What Capes Anywhere does

Wear a cape on any server, and everyone who has the mod sees it. It works on every server, offline-mode servers included, and there is nothing to install on the server.

• Every kind of cape. Your OptiFine cape, which you can also change from inside the game without pasting your login anywhere. Mojang's official capes. Your own capes from a PNG: standard 64×32, OptiFine 46×22 and bare 22×17 templates, in HD up to 8K, animated strips included. Elytra take their texture from the cape, and WaveyCapes is supported.
• Shared in seconds. Pick a cape and everybody with the mod sees it within seconds. Each image is downloaded once and checked on arrival, so nobody can swap it for another.
• A community gallery. Offer your capes to everyone; a moderator looks at each one first. Browse, search and wear the approved ones in the Community tab.
• Skin Changer. Put a skin on your account from a PNG file or an imgur or ImgBB link, after seeing it on you in 3D with any cape of the mod. See the official capes your account owns, and put one on or take it off, like from the launcher.
• Your cape, your rules. Keep a cape private, or show it only to the players you choose. Block a player and you stop seeing what they wear. Report a cape to the moderators.
• It follows your account. Sign in on another computer and your capes are already there. Each account keeps its own capes.
• It tells you when there's an update. When CurseForge has a newer version, a line in chat says so, with a link to its download page. The mod never downloads or installs anything by itself.
• The website. Search any player to see their skin and skin history, their official capes and what they wear through the mod. Every official cape and every public custom cape has its own page, with who has it and who wears it now. Sign in straight from the game, with no password.
• Safe for everyone. Every custom cape is checked automatically for nudity, violence, hate symbols and personal information, and anything suspicious goes to a person. A blocked cape comes off everybody wearing it, and recoloured or edited copies of it are refused.

Your Minecraft access token goes to Mojang and nowhere else. There's no analytics and no telemetry.

Requirements: Fabric Loader 0.19+ and Fabric API. Java 21 for the 1.21.x files, Java 25 for the 26.x files. Client-side only: nothing to install on the server.
