-campfire block textures and campfire smoke textures are now in the same format as modern versions. this means you can more easily use texture packs from modern versions to change how campfires look.
-improved the campfire burning out system: you can now reignite a campfire that is currently burning out to reset its burn out timer. this makes it way less clunky to use, since you no longer have to extinguish and then ignite again to reset the timer.
-signal fire blocks are now shown in NEI alongside recipes and extinguishers/ignitors.
-other small improvements (full list of changes on github)
